What is paper tole and does anyone have a tutorial other than the flower...when I look at cards that say paper tole it just looks like they layered or stacked the paper of certain parts
Paper tole is the craft of creating a 3 dimensional image from a flat image. I have a tutorial on my blog that combines paper tole with cloisonne. Here's the link: http://michellesrubberroom.blogspot....cloisonne.html
Hopefully it will give you an idea of how to create this look. I did use a flower stamp - but you can use any stamp that has large open areas.
Got a new video to share today I am a guest blog designer for Just Rite stampers .. Never heard of these stamps they are AWESOME !! click here http://dawnsstampingthoughts.typepad...h-of-july.html

I've done a couple of videos on technique. The first one shows basic tips on laying down ink for stamping a very detailed image. The second one shows coloring with copics. They are based on this card in the gallery: Friendly Kritters in Video by BC Sherrie at Splitcoaststampers
A new tutorial up for my friend Maria. Wanted a video tut, but I hated the sound of my voice, LOL!! Though, I did think about playing my fave songs in the background instead.
I missed this week's Turn it On Tuesday due to a death in the family back home. Stamper Dog has taken me aside and given me a scolding for spending so much time on Alaska Airlines flights lately that I had to promise to get back to stampin' right away!
He was pretty busy planning the next tutorials. I hope you drop back by & enjoy them too!
This is not so much a tutorial as a photo journal of a presentation I attended over the weekend by a demonstrator friend, the amazing Laura Barto, but I thought people might want to see what can be done with the new SU decor elements and how they can be applied "off the wall". Scroll to the middle of the post to see photos and description of the application process. http://stampwithdiane.blogspot.com/2...in-up-way
Stamper Dog's most recent video tutorial that's not listed in this thread is the Faux Crocodile Technique. You can view this one here. Learn this fun technique in just about 3 minutes.
We've got more tutorials coming soon. Tune in 2Day.
Stephanie- you rock! This is absolutely wonderful! I loved your tutorial on your blog. You did a great job making it seem easy. I can not wait to try this.
My DD is a photographer and recently asked me if I could make her something cute to put picture cds in. I have been meaning to figure out the dimensions, etc. but now you have done it for me! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I have been so busy with work lately, I have been lax on my website. So I kind of "cheated". Since there is SO much enormous talent here, I linked a couple of your techniques to my site and mentioned your names.
I thoroughly love reading all your ideas and learning more and more each day!
Stamper Dog's most recent tutorial isn't listed here. Tried to get a new one out before leaving for convention, but it's 3a & they're coming at 4a so it's not to be. If you haven't seen the
PS: On my blog I have the english instuctions for my tutorials written in light green text, so look for that =)
Legojenta - TFS! I must admit that when I went to your site, I was prepared to seek out the English from the Norwegian and go from there. Imagine my surprise when your site started crakin' up with some good ol' fashioned SOUTHERN Rock n' Roll! How fun is that?! Thanks again for the tuts. :-D

I saw several beautiful cards using this technique from TLNL but no description of what they used :( inks and daubers? pastels and sponge? I recently purchased teh Wanted stamp set and would love to use this background technique. I have the stamps and the white gel pen for the dots now just the background technique would make my day. This is a sample of the background i'm looking for info about. Baroque Bandana Technique by foster mom at Splitcoaststampers

There is a technique using the corner rounder from SU! to make a border of xxx's. I love doing this but can't find who came up with the idea. It was a video tutorial that showed how to do xxx border. Can the creator please stand up? I've been giving Paula Goff the credit for this border, but when I went looking for it on her blog, it wasn't there. I would like to give credit where it rightfully belongs.
Thanks in advance.

I have been looking for the creator of the corner rounder criss cross for about 5-6 months; and even though I check out Cambria's blog regularly, I didn't run accross it after the first time. Thank you again, gigs. Now proper credit can be given to Cambria.

Your card is wonderful! You did an awesome job not only on the border, but on the whole card.

Love that stamper dog! Is he special, or can I teach my lab to stamp? (My lab would just eat the stamps! and the ink pad, and the adhesive, and....)
