I think that you mix kool aid with clear embossing powder. I don't know how much of each though -- guess that would be important. Sorry. Good luck finding out.

you do mix it with Koolaid, but I didn't have great luck with it when I tried it... maybe I should have used more Koolaid or a stronger flavor/scent...

Hi Joy! If you go to Techniques, type in Scratch and Sniff and it will give you the directions. This is a pretty fun technique, except that I kept thinking it smelled stronger than it actually was. When I asked my kiddos and DH, they said they could smell it only because of the embossing gun. haha! Good luck!

When I did one I used 1 envelope of koolaid and 1 tsp of clear embossing powder.

Regular Kool-Aid, not the sugar free. Lemon Kool-Aid with embossing powder smells like lemonade! I did "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade" at a party. Very cool. It's in my gallery.:cool:

Didn't work that great for me...and I used 1 tbsp of embossing powder and koolaid (the kind that you put your own sugar in)
