Photo candles.

Can anyone tell me how to get a photo on a candle? I can do the stamps...wax paper etc... but the photo has me stumped.....

My friend just made some, this is what she did: made a computer copy of the picture, then used mod podge (bought at michaels) to adhere the pic to the candle. It looks great! If you have any questions feel free to PM me. Hope this helps, good luck!

I thought you were supposed to print the photo on tissue paper and then adhere it to the candle the usual way. I have printed images and words from the computer onto tissue paper, and it worked great. I just taped the tissue paper onto regular printer paper so it would go through the printer. I haven't tried doing it with a photograph yet, but it should work the same way.

Tape the tissue paper to the cardstock and run it through the printer. Then use the wax paper and heat gun to melt it into the candle.

I have printed the picture on computer paper and cut paper close to picture. Put waxed paper over the picture like you do with the tissue paper when you stamp it, and use your heat tool to heat the waxed paper. The wax will adhere the picture to the candle. I've done about a dozen this way and they look great!
