This is so cute! I would make everyone a llama but the fabric store is closed. But also you can probably make it a different animal based upon the recipient.
Jan yes they say on the news here the UK or South African strain lol. I think it’s because it’s different from the original Covid strain. You could have come and lived here in WA up until Sunday as we’ve been Covid free here for 10 months. Hopefully we are back ok again by Saturday. No more cases yet..just the one guy. I wore my mask to walk as it’s mandatory. It was so good to see everyone complying. I didn’t like it but got used to it. Could be worse.
We have a terrible bush fire here. Over 60 kms of bush burnt so far and 56 homes lost. My friends daughter and her family have had to evacuate and the fire is at their street. I so hope they can save their home. The firemen and volunteers are amazing. It’s so sad and I hope it was nature that caused it and not deliberately lit. I can never understand why someone would do that. Oz can be a harsh place to live. We can see the smoke and the sun was in shadow today even though it was 37 degrees. It felt so weird...not that we can go out but we did stand at our gate and look.
happy Tuesday.

OK I really don't make sense some times! Lol I meant that the llama could probably be changed into a dinosaur by changing the design of the face and the shape of the feet. I really wish I could predict or control my brain fog.
That Llama is so adorable! What a great idea for a soothing heat pack.
Jayne, so sorry to hear about lockdown and now a bush fire! How very terrifying for those that live in that area! Hugs and prayers that they get the fire contained quickly.

Our challenge id to send sunshine this month. Whether you use yellow or sunset colours or whether you use the word sunshine, or even a sunny scene, it's up to you. The caveat here is that you also need to send the card. My sample is going in the mail tomorrow. Sending Sunshine by yellowrose46 at Splitcoaststampers

Ok so I have the winter blahs and I want to be on the island. I went grocery shopping at the big store, last time there before Jan 2020, that has more selection but causes me more anxiety. So since I made it out I figured I deserved a treat. yup I bought a pink polka dot thingie! Trying to make my place more tropical! LOL
Ina perfect theme! I was thinking of making " friendship" cards to send out. I think I will also leave a thank you note for my postie. Yesterday he was so busy he was 2.5 hours later than usual. But he was still kind and left the parcel at my door instead of making me go out for it. Yup there are some really good people. Then there is the guy in the parking lot that didn't see this big purple blob cause he was so busy looking out the side window! Uuggh!

Sharing my Feb selfie for OLW
L6nn, do I hear the palm trees swaying in the wind, just outside your window?

Ina! It is all your fault! I found the paper. I had the idea. I used my printer to print on DSP. I could not figure out how to cut my shape on the cricut! But I did find a happy die! And I did find a shape die to cut around the printing on the DSP. 2 hours later I need food! Lol
Where is the pool boy when I need him! Garcon! Garçon! Something to eat please! Cat just rolled her eyes at me again! Who taught her that! Off to forage
A pleasant interruption to my laundry chores. The twins are learning to cook. I just got a crêpe nicely made and everything. So I introduced them to a simple compote they can make with frozen fruit.
OkI made a few different cards along this line. I am posting one here so that everyone knows I want you to have a passport to Sunshine. Hopefully some may make it through the postal system
Ina you are so right! I need reminding some times.
It is such a weird world! I trimmed my 2.5 foot wide Christmas cactus and have started a clipping for grumpy. But I need a pot and I need gravel or pebbles. Normally I could just go out and grab it! Ugh! I prefer to put a cactus in a clay pot but I have figured out a plastic pot but it needs a lot of drainage. Of course the pot is too big. I will figure it out.
For Jayne you is probably complaining about the heat.
That is just so winter! Just read a story. An SUV/van went off the road into a snow bank. They were near a Mennonite community. A pair of horses were brought out and real horse power saved the day!
Lynn, when was it -17 degrees at your place today? It was -6 this morning at 7:30 with a windchill of -11. And it got up to -2 this afternoon. With that beautiful sunshine, I was out with just a sweater.

Hi everyone! Talking of weather, it was 60 for a high today. I took my long walk in a sweatshirt and insulated vest, and sweats. . Got hot before I got home. Lovely! Has been for a few days. But this weekend it is suppose to get cold.
I hope your headaches goes away Gracie so you can craft again!
Kathy, how is the new snow blower doing?
Lynn, I like your new view of the world. . Oh, and I love your self!
Ina , lovely card and great challenge. I already have an idea.
Jayne, hope those fires aren’t near you. How terrible.
Jan, how are you? I miss you at TSFT, but I only do post my blog about twice a month. I always think I am going to, and then don’t.
Ina you caught me! Lol! I had not refreshed the page.
It was still sunny till 5pm and all I want is a BBQ! Yup I so want to be on the island that I think my mind is now on "island time"! Lol When summer shows up and it is 40c outside I will be complaining about the heat. Yup there is a small band in the +40 to -40 celcius that we can have that I don't complain about.
Ah yes I was playing on the tablet. I was looking at different kinds of beaches. I went down the rabbit hole! Yup I was ON the beach in Sandbanks provincial park. Yup. SPF 110 at the ready, yup I am Irish. It is really a lovely place till the itch starts! Lol yup full of sand fleas. There are NO sand fleas on the island
Sharon, the fires are about 30km away I think..in the hills but we can see the smoke and had smoke haze here. It’s so windy and the firies have a big job ahead of them. 71 homes lost so far. So so sad.
Hope you are feeling better Gracie. I sympathise with you. No fun.
no more cases yet so we may get out of lockdown by Saturday but there will be new restrictions. There’s a couple of cases back in Melbourne but what to expect when they decide to hold the tennis. Crazy decision bringing all those players and their teams in from around the world. Off my soapbox now.
I’m going back to my island.

Lynn your card is beautiful, not sure I would look that elegant sat on our beach !
jayne I agree , stupid idea letting the tennis go ahead, they are all back in guaranteed aren’t they, all for money!!
sharon, we’re fine, keeping safe, I started a post for T day but couldn’t figure out how to resize the photo I added as I have started using my MacBook Air and the blogger on that is new to me, complicated or what, anyway I’m hoping to see you over there next week. I had a quick look to see if you had posted but didn’t see you.
Of course we all look elegant on the beach! We look what ever way we want. Me I don't care how I look on the island. I want good health. I want to romp, cavort and all that stuff! I want desperately to hug my son! Oops sorry
Island BBQ party! Yup that sounds perfect. Come as you are! The party has everything YOU want!

I've been at Sandbanks park several times. A weekend of csmping with a large group of young people when I was 21 and a few years later, we spent the first w/e in Nov. camping with another couple and we actually went swimming (only once!).
