I'm here, just finished my baby quilt that I need to give to lady tomorrow. I've been making this between cards, now I need to get another one done by Saturday.
Well ladies I have decided that I NEED to get this room done! SO with ideas from various sources I am going to put my spellbinders
-adhere and old fridge magnet to the cardboard
-place in a 5x12 ziplock bag
-organize by shape
This weeks challenge I tried using supplies I have not pulled out in a while, in this card I am using Flower Soft, Twinkling H20's, Copics and my gelatos. I had so much fun with this challenge, I wish I had time to make a third but for the rest of the weekend I am heading out to Comiccon with my husband.
I'm feeling kind of like an odd ball. I'm the only one who's not made the "official" pocket tag card. Guess I'd better do that. Maybe today. I do have two samples made for the challenge I will be posting for next week.....
I just put three views of a card in the gallery. I used a 6x9 envelope to do this one. I found the idea online, but I can't remember where. I really love it because you can use the pocket for a gift card if you want.
That is a cool idea Kathy....idea for little gifts. I'm off today yippee!
I'll be sewing to get another baby blanket done by tomorrow...eek! Plus I'll making my bag give away.
I like blue! Hint hint!
I didn't decorate the envelope... I figured I would bling it up when I decide who it will go to. The dp was from a 6x6 paper pack called The Sweetest Thing by MME.
I typed in envelope in the search box and found the card I CASE'd. It is by Sweet Irene and is called Masculine Envelope Card. I'm on my smartphone and don't know how to link from here so I hope you can find it with that info. I wasn't sure if it was on here or not until Lynn left me a comment on my card that she saw one on SCS. Thanks Lynn (muzbysmom)
Love the idea Kathy and have put in my favorites.. will have to make one up so I have it. thanks for sharing..... I have another envelop card almost ready. Hope I can get it done today... will be iffy..is there such a word?????? another warm day coming up!!!!
Lovely!
Tomorrow I am going to Michaels for more storage...maybe I will finally get unpacked????
I went to ACMoore and Michaels today. I haven't been there in two weeks. Michaels has done some rearranging in those two weeks. ACMoore had Darice folders on sale again for $1.99.....also had spectrum noir marker sets on sale for $7.88.
Wow you US people do get some very good sale items...... Don't see many here it seems.. I have made a pledge no more craft stuff till after these weddings .. Wonder if I can do it lol....

Lynn...I have yet to make mine as well! :o(
I seem to create at the eleventh hr but I am soooo
busy and no time to play w/ paper and ink as much as I wish!

Well, here it is another kids Birthday card....I think take the prize at posting kidscards , you see very few in the galleries.. Actually a card like this takes so long to do.. all that fussy cutting etc.. Not complaining just sayin'..
I'll have to remember your gallery when I need to make a few kid cards for the church Card Ministry. They are hard for me to make and I need all the inspiration I can find.
Connie's quilts are beautiful and got me thinking. Does anyone else have other hobbies besides cardmaking? I used the do counted cross stitch until my eyes got worse. It is hard now to focus going from the pattern to the project and back. I'm attaching a picture of my pride and joy. I have soooo much time into this picture that I just couldn't give it away. No one would understand the time and love that went into making it.
So then cardmaking came into my life in 2009 and I love how I can put a card together in ten minutes or two hours or two days, depending on what I am doing. I tried scrapbooking once, but there was too much time involved in those, although I think they are amazing. I have done a few pages...
Ok, ladies. Has anyone seen or heard from Dawn, Donna, Diana, or Dani lately? Those three are MIA. Is it just a coincidence that all those names start with D ?? LOL

Kathy, I think it is just a coincidence they all start with D. I haven't heard from any of those ladies.
(BTW - it's 4 NOT3!! Or were you leaving someone off of the MIA list?LOL!)

Thanks ladies on the compliments. Kathy, your cross stitching is beautiful. I tried that, but kept in the quilting & sewing area. I would like to get into beading, not sure if I want to start another hobby.
OK ladies, you all until tomorrow to get your pocket cards in & I'll have one of my kids put your names in bag, the winner will receive something quilted.
