NVR=No Vendor restiction. It means you can use anything for the swap cards. It does not have to be just stampin Up products.

Bump to top
When someone posts to a thread, it goes to the top of all the threads in that section and "bumps" other, older posts down. By posting to the thread, you're gettin' it up to the top again.
Clear as mud? Great! :-D

Thanks for the help with all the acronyms! I knew a lot of them, but not all of them, so this helped out a bunch!

What you posted to is a thread. A topic started by an SCS member and you add your post/comment to it that thread.
Very confusing isn't it!
The site was not this large when I joined and I really feel the new members, I probably haven't seen it all myself!

DP?
What does DP mean? I saw a photo posted saying they had to use DP as if it were a supply or a brand of some sort.
Thx

British Lass... Hello Everyone...
Hello everyone. I think I posted my greeting to you all on the wrong site, and ended up with a title "Greetings from Germany...." Whoops - Sorry Ina, I pinched your title... didn't mean to! After a couple of years not using this site I am a little rusty to say the least.
I adore the cards posted and have decided to take up my hobby again after a couple of years of changing nappies/feeding baby etc.
I look forward to chatting with you and creating cards on a daily basis (keeps me sane...! LOL)

The thread slowly drifts to the bottom of the forum list unless it gets commented on - so they are bumping it back to the top of the list do it's seen by more viewers.

If you have a list, that would be great!! I was thinking of doing this but if it's already started - you're a doll!

I just read it again myself and I guess it's over. But the project was to surprise someone with any type of goodie/package and no one was to know who it came from but most of us could figure that out with the address or postmark.
