well i work 2 jobs so i am over $40,000 (not by much) and they cut me off...boo to them!
Really Janet, I thought the HST one wasn't supposed to be based on income! I got the $100 credit....though it makes no sense that I would get $300 if I was married (even without kids). How did they inform you, didn't you get the initial payment.......

Actually did some research on this for you.... LOL
A single person with no children and income of up to $80,000 would receive a benefit of $100 in each of June 2010, December 2010 and June 2011. The maximum benefit would be reduced by five per cent of income over $80,000, so a single person with income of $81,000, for example, would receive three benefits of $50 each. Single people with income over $82,000 would not receive a benefit.

is it possible that you are confusing the GST credit with the HST? the HST one is only 3 payments in total...the other one is an ongoing program from what I understand...

Ina...I would call them to see why. If you filed your taxes you should have gotten either $100 if you are single or $300 for a couple.
Woohoo! Dion's in!! I think Teresa and Ina are further out then you are though. Teresa is from the Niagara area (Smithsville) and Ina is in Fergus. Maybe you guys can carpool if you are close enough to each other...just a thought. I'm pretty far out too but in another direction. I'm in Bradford which is just south of Barrie.

Ladies, which location do you all prefer?? I know Krissie, Suzanne, and Christyne prefer the Mississauga location as they're IN Mississauga...but for those that are coming from further away, what's more convenient for you ladies??

I visit Bradford often (Have family there) so I am very familiar with the area
The Mississauga location is 50 mins away for me - but I have to take the 407
The Queensway location is 58 mins away for me but I don't have to take the 407.
Either way (I have a transponder) but I think the Queensway Location is the most convenient as it's right on/off the highway... But again I am flexible
Good morning all! Hope everyone is planning a great weekend. I think either location will be fine for me. If you want to car pool, Dion, we can come via Highway 6, but if you prefer going on your own, that's o.k. too.

How far are you from me? I'm not familiar with Fergus and it's distance from Cambridge. Is it near the highway (I know where Hwy 6 Guelph is)
We might be able to carpool for next month for sure as I'm planning on stopping by my parents house before I meet up with you gals (They live in Brampton)

But more of it is free than anything else just to get rid of it all.

I didn't know there was a car park at hwy 6 (north or south exit?) Then again, I never really get off there - unless i was heading to Burlington or Oakville.
I would be more than happy to drive us down there and pick you up from the car park. I frequently drive down there so I know my way around.

Yep...I stopped by Michelle's today before heading out to Vaughan Mills and trust her when she says she has A LOT of stuff!!!! Like TONS!! Don't expect to leave there in less than an hour!!!

As for the cataloguing...I used to do it by alphabetical order regardless of the category since that's the way it's stored in my cabinets. But then I found it hard to find a specific stamp that I was looking for if I didn't know the name, so I ended up cataloguing it by category in alphabetical order. For example, my book is divided into sections for Christmas, Halloween, Birthday, Floral, Sentiments only, etc..... then within those categories it's alphabetical, I guess it doesn't really have to be since it's in alphabetical in my cabinets so it's still easy to find but I'm kinda **** like that. I'm sure there's a better system but so far I find this works for me. Hope that helps.

Michelle, Have you got any paper that looks like maps or roads in you great-unload-athon? I'm also looking for anything (paper, stamps, brads, whatever) sea related such as mermaids, shells, sea horses, fish, etc.
I'm sure I do Ill have to scan through and if I have anything...
But seriously your better off looking to see for your self because you may find something that would work....

This is an off the wall suggestion and maybe rude to invite myself over but maybe we should change locations from Red Lobster to Michelle's house and bring pot luck appetizer stuff.
As for the pot luck at my house...no problem there either

I am pretty sure I have some map related paper you can have, Teresa. We'll have to figure out how to get it to you. I also have the Old World Map background stamp from SU! I'd be happy to stamp some images for you in whatever color works best for your project.
