Unmounting pre-mounted stamps

I know there are TONS of threads on this, but I just went through about five pages of threads and trying to skim to find the one that I need.

I need directions for UMing pre-mounted. I just need to know how to detach the adhesive part from the actual rubber. They are $1 stamps and the form is coming right off the block.

One way is to put them in the microwave for 5 - 10 seconds to release the adhesive. If you need to do it a couple of times you can cover them with a damp paper towel to prevent the rubber from drying out - but I've only done that with the stubborn ones.
