i would venture that it would depend on the look you want. i have both tulip and stickles. when i want just a glittery look, i use stickles. if i want a dimensional/raised look, i go with tulip.

that's a good question. haven't used nesties or qk to cut acrylic. i do know however, that emboss with the embossing folder AFTER you cut out the ornament.
