I have both and did a comparison. I don't really notice a difference between the two. They both react with water and blend the same. I like Simon Says better because the ink pad is easier to open...

Dark black cardstock

I have Gina K black, but Hero Arts and Papertrey black is darker. Papertrey is smoother than the Hero Arts. All are great though!

I usually just wipe mine with a wet cloth to clean it.

My go to is Sakura Gelly - I also like Faber-Castell Pitt Artist brush white pen.

I have the mini and it's ok, But I like my Heffy doodle machine a lot more, it's more sturdy and takes less space. The only difference is the SU has a wider plate (3.5") and my doodle is (3.0")

I've only seen the online store tipping since the Pandemic. I normally tip for restaurants and coffee shops. During the Pandemic I have been tipping more than usual.
