Scoring with cutter

I use my old Fiskars cutter, with the scoring blade to score. It is very easy and I don't have to follow the grid. Has anyone compared the two? I would love to hear reasons I need to switch.

I love mine. Got mine at Michaels with a 1/2 off coupon. I think it punches nicer holes then a regular hole punch. Then use the same tool to set the eyelet, it is sooo easy.
