O.K. call me slow but I just found this challenge. I am orginally a scrapper who got into stamping thinking that I would use it a lot in my scrapbook pages ...... NOT ....... but I do try.
I would like to try some of these challenges but I'm really, really hoping that this is going to continue next year so I can start afresh with the rest of you.

Nancy ... I'm pretty sure most of us won't be DONE with all of our scrapping by the end of the year so I plan to keep going ... hoping my SCRAPPY Girlfriends want to! LOL!
Seriously, jump in and play with us at any time, you don't have to wait until January if you don't want to! We add scrappers all the time

Hi Jenny. I'm a pretty new scrapbooker and have 50 years to catch up on. So, I'm not doing it in any particular order -- just grab some photos and get started. I might just start now and then putter away at the previous 50 years. LOL

Oh, no way! What happens when you try to upload, Heather?
I get the to the initial screen where I select the pictures give the pictures a general title and type in general information. I click yes for alert me when new comments are posted and click submit. I wait for a really, *really* long time. Then the initial screen comes up again and all information is lost. :(

Kirsten--I am going out to your gallery and take a look later today-1st I have to ride my bike to WW and then off to Pahrump to garden and shop for my dad-I get about 2 rose bushes a week trimmed--my mom loved rose bushes--there are about 8 of them out there and they love, love, love the desert!!

Sounds like your connection is timing out before the upload is complete. You could try only uploading one file at a time and see if that helps.
More likely to work, try sizing down your picture before you upload it. That happens to me a LOT less since I started using the advanced exporting option "large Web" under sizes.
I don't know what photo editing software you're using, so I hope my explanation makes sense...
Try exporting your photo to a folder on your desktop. Save it as a jpeg, choose a smaller size than the default (might be 'medium' or could be a ###x### dpi ratio and then give it a unique name. Then when you go to upload, browse over to the file you saved in your desktop folder.

I agree with Kirsten...
That is what happens to me when my upload photos and pages are to large. I usually resize all my uploads in "paint" to about 550 X750 (give or take a few) before I upload them here on SCS.
Has anyone been to Michaels lately? All of their Halloween/Fall scrapbooking embellishments and decorations are AT LEAST 75% off. I spent a boat-load there today. Some of their Thanksgiving embellies are only 50% off, but some of them are also 75%. Even the Martha Halloween line is 75%!!
Go check them out if you have time!!

You can fix that yourself by going in and editing each photo in your gallery and moving them to your album. I move my uploads around all the time and I never lose any comments. If you need help... just ask us.... I'm sure one of us will walk you through it.

Everything is already automatically in your gallery. I always upload my pages to the digital scrapbooking gallery. But if you click the See My Stuff link in my signature, it goes to MY gallery, and the uploads are there, too.
Unless you want them in a specific album in your gallery, it's better to put them in one of SCS's albums because then more people can find them.
If you put stuff only in your album or your gallery, then they don't show up with the scrapbooking gallery when someone clicks that page. Make sense?

You have to go into your profile by clicking on your name in the upper right corner (by the envelope). Then you click on edit signature and you have to manually type in your November goal.

I have posted some of the pages that I've been working on recently in my Gallery so feel free to check them out! I don't know how well I'll do towards my goal now that I signed on to this very addictive site, because I went and signed up for a few scrapbook swaps, so those might delay me a bit. Hey Girls!
Back from our fab trip. We saw characters galore (yes, I even got all overwhelmed when I met Belle...she's my fave!), rode rides, ate yummy treats, shopped a little and laughed a lot! Was starting to digi scrap the trip tonight, but can't quite get the mojo started, will play a little cuz once I get going, I'm hoping to have the album done in a week.....only 5GB of photos.....totally do-able, right?!?!? lol
Hope all has been well with my SCSBFFs!!!!!!
