K, am admitting defeat! 5GB of Disney photos are simply too much to scrap in one week.....well, if I cancelled DS1's 10th bday party for Saturday then I certainly could get it done.....but something tells me THAT wouldn't go over so well! lol So, I am hanging up my mouse for the rest of the week...plus, my eyes are bugging something fierce! :-)
But oooooooooh it's fun scrapping while the memories are still so very fresh and practically 'present' and not yet begun to be 'past'!!!

Oh another question to you terrific ladies - has anyone found a good clear adhesive that you can use behind vellum? I need to get some, but don't want to waste my $$ on stuff that you'll be able to see. Thanks!

I really want to learn the digi world--but I have to do something with my puter--it is really slow these days. I think an external hard drive is in order. And then I want to get a good printer with a scanner, but I havent decided which one to get. I did see that the price of them has really dropped!

11/13/08 - DIP Into My Pantry - (well, actually Anavon's ) This week's Thursday Challenge started as a FUN Scrappy Moment by our favorite "Queen of the A.M. Scrappers" - Anavon! Hello ladies. I don't think I've been in the goal forum for about a week. Just not feelin real scrappy right now. I hope to get a chance to look at everyone's layouts soon. I've only done one page this month and that was for my challenge so, I sort of had to do that one. :rolleyes: Hope you all are well and that I haven't missed too much. Take care.

I can't vouch for it *completely*, but I've used simply a 2-way glue pen in little dots. It's bluish but dries clear (though I know you can see it on regular paper). I used it on the lo with the faux sheers under my vellum and you couldn't see it at all. Yes, I know I had stamped on that and I did position my dots under some of the stamping, but I really looked for the glue when it dried and I couldn't see it. And I *hate* obvious glue under vellum. I don't think I'd use it for large areas, but it worked for me in a tight spot.

I like that concept. I'm with you ladies... You don't want to know how long it took me to finish my two denim 'n dolls pages of my DGD. I like to savor my pages in progress sometimes, and pore over them, trying this and that, going through my stash. Since most of my scrapping is about my granddaughters, I don't feel the same urgency to scrap every single event like I would if it was for my own kids. I figure Mom and Dad will do some of that as well. So, I just take my time (unless it's for an occasion VSBN challenge, that is!)
But, I still love this goals thread because it keeps me focused on puttin' one foot in front of the other--when I get one done I'll start on another, and so on...

I think I was drunk when I said I could do 30! haha! Not really drunk, but I forgot I am going on a week long trip to my MIL's house. I'll prob. only get about 20 done :(

I've been MISSING ya'll too! I've been "south"...went down to see MP but she left town when I got there, LOL! MP went to AL and I won't be in AL until next week....:rolleyes:

I use the "Vellum Tape".... I'm not sure who it's by though? I took it out of the package :rolleyes:

well, the only way I get them done is when I have one "weekend" where I scrap alot of pages...on the months I don't...I only get half that done. :cool:

Wendy...I KNOW!! I am SO, excited! I can't believe thanks to our Challenge for getting pages done monthly I've got so many done this year. I'm already over last year's total and I thought was good. I just might get my books caught up for my DS Graduation party next June :p
Ya'll will have to come to the PARTY just so we can CELEBRATE together all the scrap pages that are done, hahahahahaha!! :eek:

I DID IT! I COMPLETED MY FIRST PAGE IN 3 MONTHS!!!!
I am so excited to have scrapped something. I took this picture a few days ago and found this quote as one of the ones I was to scrap for the 52 week journal. It feels so good to be creative again. I've missed ya'll and this craft. I also am waiting on my supplies to work on a family gratidude photo spinner. It'll let me display some pictures in a scrappy, crafty way
Well, I finally got through the 5 pages of thread that I had missed and checked out all the great layouts you guys have uploaded. Great work everyone! So glad someone's feelin' scrappy.:rolleyes:
