I did it, I made two more!!! I've done 366 pages this year.
I can't figure out how to upload them! I'm using them as the front and back cover of my latest family digi-albm (latest to get done - it's 2007 pictures!) and I stitched & saved them in a format I can't seem to retrieve. They're uploaded with the album, but now I can't get them BACK. seems a shame not to post #365 and 366!!!
Oh well, one more page to reach 40 for the month, and I'm hauling out the PAPER!!!

easy peasy
With your project/page open and at the home tab, click on the down arrow under the "save" icon and choose "save pages as".
You then specify a location for your file, choose your output (jpeg, png...), your resolution (I've been choosing "good" or 150 dpi b/c it uploads faster but doesn't look too grainy or pixelated - if you're saving to print definitely choose 300dpi!), and the page range. If you want to save more than one, choose "view selected" and you can add or remove pages there. Click save and share share share!!

yep - actually you can drop it down to 72 dpi for display on the internet without any loss in quality as that's all that monitors can display anyway. plus, it saves file size. I save my files twice - I create in photoshop in tiff format and then flatten the file to a 300 dpi jpg for printing and then save another copy as a 72 dpi for uploading. (And that's why I don't always upload my finished pages... all those steps... i'd rather spend the time scrapping!!!)

I didn't know you could go that low. I've had trouble getting my files small enough to upload on some sites and when they're up they're terrible - I wonder if it's them and not me?

some sites have ridiculously low file size restrictions, so not only do you have to save it as 72 dpi, but also you have to size it down to 500 pixels wide and at a quality of 6 or 7 (instead of 10) in order to meet their size limit - and I always get crappy looking stuff when I go that low. So now I only upload here and on my blog. SCS downsizes for you, and the quality hasn't been too terrible.

Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks so. I love the uploader here, it makes things so convenient (most of the time).

Gotta love quick pages in the digi world as that's how I've done the last several of my pages. This one included This is my final l/o for my 2008 52 week journal. Now to get ready for the 2009 one.
This is SUCH a fun thread--HEY EVERYONE--pick your favorite page from 2008 and post it on the thread. It's so fun seeing everyone's personal favorite pages....
Here is my favorite for 2008. It's actually the first 12x12 I'd ever done but the sketch was so neat and I knew these pictures would fit perfectly. I really enjoyed doing it and I've been bitten by the "bug" now to keep on going! My grandson is 5 now and loves looking back on his memories so I've got lots to do this coming year!
Hello! uploading today!
the last two dps for the Christmas album. this was a 20 page album made with DCWV ultimate Christmas stack. My sis bought so I made us books and sent as a Christmas gift. She just has to add matted pics.

Wow, that's a coincidence!! We live off 75th Ave and Camelback--just on the edge of the Phoenix-Glendale border. So, where do you live now?? (I guess I should be sending this in a PM or on the chat thread.)
