Hi everyone! Been getting a little work done. I was wondering if any of you have the Build-a-bear die for the Big Shot? I am going to be doing a page on that soon and I was hoping that maybe it would be possible for someone to punch one out for me? Idk what colors I am going with yet, but I would be glad to pay you for the paper. Thanks!
I've got an extra premade page kit if you'd like to have it. Just PM me your address.

I am excited and honored to be Jenn's Guest Host this week... Here is the link to the challenge.
Jennipher and Patti, I hope you both feel better soon!
Carol and Tam, so glad you are doing better!
I have just 11 days until my retreat so I will be kicking it into high gear this week. I've got to make 46 notepads as an attendance gift. I am so ready for this retreat! I've got my photos printed, just need to find all my scrappin stuff that is ALL OVER my scrap room.
Hope you feel better soon Jenn. I am feeling out of sorts myself. I started on some new meds (low line chemo) and they are kicking my butt. Doc says once I get used to them it will not be so bad. I have a 3 day stampin/scrapin weekend coming up and I am determined to get LOTS of projects completed! Have a great week Jenn.
Thanks Patti. Hope you adjust to the meds real soon. ;)

Hey Everyone!
I'm keeping my goal at 4 per month though I seem to be averaging 2 per month BUT... that's more than I was doing a year ago! Yay!
I've got a layout already started but I'm only scrapping a couple minutes per day (at best) since have exactly 3 months and 20 days left to study for boards, finish my research paper, give a one hour talk, get a job, apply for a medical license... oh and manage to get married in April.
Sooooo grateful that God is on my side because what I'm called to do is so much bigger than I am.

Liz, Not sure what you want, I have the Stampin' Up/Build-a-bear dies for Sizzix. I have the bear die, the clothes die, both girl and boy accessory dies and the embossing folder, Pawsitively. If any of this is what you want, just let me know and I'll send what I can. If you want anything, please PM me so I don't miss it!

52 Week Challenge #10 - 2010
Good Morning Everyone....
It's Thursday.... Time for another look at where we are in our 52 Weeks of 2010! This month our challenges have been and will continue to be about "Going Green" and recycling old memories and planting a tree, "A FAMILY TREE". Last week I challenged you all to start with you. We were challenged to plant that memory seed by finding inspiration in ourselves. Now that the seed has been planted and sprouted, it is time to prune and add to those branches with today's challenge entitled...
Scrapping BRANCHES...
SO your challenge today is to add a page or LO about your parents. Scrap photos that tell a funny story or a recycled treasured memory. I also thought it would be fun to REUSE a Sketch Challenge... So for this challenge please use the sketch..... SBSC03
:::::::Remember you get Bonus points if you "Go Green" on your page... (choose from the following)
1. "Go Green" by using the color green.
2. "Go Green" by using up some stash.
3. "Go Green" by recycling embellishments or accents.
4. "Go Green" by using limited supplies.
Yay! I finally got a page done this month! The other exciting thing about this page is that I used a LOTW swap title finally! I did multiple LOTW swaps and hadn't put them on a layout. It has been well over a year since the first swap and this is the first LO and I LOVE how it turned out!

OK...so I've decided that I'm taking on a whole new approach to this goal thing. My goal is to get done whatever gets done. I'm realizing that I'm at a place in my life that it is unrealistic to set any kind of scrappin goal other than to make time to scrapbook at least once every so often. With three kids (one going through puberty -DRAMA) of which I homeschool my two youngest, that's about the most realistic goal I can set.
I can't get on SCS everyday and check up on how everyone is doing (Oh how I want to!). I can't even check my emails everyday! I was privileged to be able to attend a crop last month and got way more done that I thought - Yay! But that may not happen again for a while. With soccer season beginning soon, dance recital coming in about 6wks, DD's 5th grade graduation coming up and all three of my kiddos BD in the summer time for scrappin is just going to have to be stumbled upon and whatever gets done - that is my goal! Not to mention God and I are really going through some stuff together - necessary stuff, but time consuming stuff. I rejoice and am humbled to think of the wife, mom and friend He is refining me to be, but refining can be taxing. Thankfully, I serve a patient God who is walking with me through all of this, and encouraging me to push through the "yuck" and finally face it and allow Him to heal me from it.
I hope to be able to pop in at least once a week to comment on some of the awesome pages you ladies post and see what's going on in everyones' lives. And thankfully, today seems to be one of those rare days I can do just that. (sorry so long)

Haley as long as God is in the mix, your goal is just as it should be! That's why he tells us there is a SEASON for everything! I pray you see clarity soon, in the meantime don't sweat the small stuff. there are no scrapbooks in eternity and no one's keeping score on what you got done! your children, your husband, and our great Big GOD, will thank you for being there in this season!
Be blessed in the journey!

I so know how you feel. I am not ready for those teenage years but they are coming up quickly. My oldest DD is turning 12 in a few months but we have been doing this hormone thing for at least the past 6 months. It feels as though an alien has invaded the body of my sweet baby girl!

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage! My husband and I honeymooned in Jamaica and absolutely loved it. If you get the chance to climb Dunn's River Falls, do so. They are absolutely stunning and very romantic. We will celebrate 14 years of marriage this July!

WHAT!?! Nobody told me this one! Are you sure?
I guess if we have a perfect memory, we won't need the scrapbooks, huh?

Oh and are you going to scrapbook your wedding or your honeymoon? Have you picked out what colors your going to do it, if you do?

Yup I'm sure... I also had to explain to my son that there weren't any jersey's in heaven and that God didn't care if Brett Favre wore green or purple
That totally made me laugh out loud when I read it!

Well said Valerie! I too agree that whatever pages you get done Haley will be *bonus*! There are seasons for everything. Just keep taking pictures of all the FUN you are having now! I have spent much of the last week thinking and praying over this very idea. As some of you know, my Mom was in the hospital. It gave me quite a scare but she is out and doing fine. I don't live by Mom so I only see her occasionally. I want to be more diligent in my contact & visits with her.
In the last year, I have found myself in another season of life as my oldest son went off to college and my youngest is a high schooler now and "busy, busy". At times I have felt lost without someone needing me ;) I very much have enjoyed spending time getting the memories in scrap pages. I did not scrap when my kids were young and not sure I would have "had time" either Haley so as a Mom in another spectrum of life, I can tell you there will be time later for scrappin!

Thanks for all of the encouragement ladies - and I needed the Brett Favre joke (I too laughed out loud). I was able to spend a big chunk of the day editing and ordering photos for my pages. Woo-Hoo. Here's to something accomplished!

I too had #4 child leave home in November. So we went from a very full house to now a very large house with only the two of us left. My DH works long hours and rarely takes a day off. So not only is my house empty of children, it can also become quite lonely at times. A new phase of my life and I need to figure out how to fill my days.
But golf season is just around the corner and I do know how to spend 5 hours/day x 5 times/week.
