I voted for October
hope to actually meet and socialize with more of you the next time.
Maybe we need to plan a social gathering after the swap. We wanted to do that in March, but couldn't figure out where to have it. Dorinda, can we add a poll to see who might be interested?

I wont be swapping this year so it would be more fun for me....Honestly, I dont think my card was good enough because only 3 people made one.
a social after sounds fun too tho!
is this gonna be in OR or WA this time? anyone know?
OOOh~ I voted October. Anytime is probably good, September usually is hectic getting kids back to school....
I missed the last one, and quite the party it sounds like!
I've gotta meet you in person AJ! I hope the date and location works out.

Don't let that make you feel like your card wasn't good enough. This isn't a contest. Remember a couple of things about events like this:
We had a lot of things going on-time was somewhat tight
Some people get overwhelmed with all the activity and work much slower in this type of environment
People have so much fun chatting and getting to meet each other that they'd rather do that than make the actual cards.
We didn't quite have the swap part down to a science. We also had some latecomers which threw things off. That's why it's so important to get to these events on time.
I know at the next WA event, we will have everyone trade their projects with the table behind them just to make it all easier on everyone.

oh i know its not a contest....just makes ya feel like crud..not a biggie, i found something else to do with them.
Novell is right. I spent all my time chatting in Portland... that's why I knew I wouldn't find time to participate at the WA swap... My mouth was too busy. And I STILL didn't get to talk to half the people I wanted to. lol

Honey, I'm home! We had a great day in Seattle. My grandson loves it and wants to move here. He wants to go back to Seattle Center and the Space Needle on Sunday. Ride the Ducks was a hoot... and very informative! I'm lovin' every minute of his visit.

If you decided to do it the 2nd week of August, I would be there! My kids will be gone for the week, and I have to be in the Vancouver area by the 12th. So, I could swing down that week.
No other time though:(
Don't decide on my behalf, but if you decide on August, let me know!
I voted for October, I have guests visiting in August and September.
I would really love to make it down for this one since I missed it last time. Plus I've never been to Oregon before
Thanks Dorinda for organizing!

I met Tisha at the WA swap! How's she doing? Did they find out what they're having?
She's doing fine! You'd hardly even know she was pregnant though  I think becuase she has such a long torso the baby has more room or something (I was not so lucky). She is leaving the gender a surprise which I can understand but it sure would make it easier to shop for my new niece to nephew! ;)
Where is everyone? Out playing in this gorgeous weather? LOL
Braggart! Just returned from and wet and cold weekend camping with 9 Girl Scouts. The sun finally comes out when we're on our way home......
