Yes, you can! I saw a lady demo a Holtz die in a CB yesterday at the Albany Stamp Expo. She didn't use the bottom plate/pad.
Cookie told me that too - woo hoo! I really want the Gears die. I was looking for it at AC Moore and Michaels yesterday and didn't see any of his dies - Diane said I must have walked right by them at AC Moore! I missed out on using the 50% off coupon but can still use the 40%....can you say Doh!

You lucky dog! I ordered them online over a month ago and think I got the gear set for at least 20% off...still waiting for them to arrive...hopefully this week. Gears could be my theme for Buffalo's shoebox if the set arrives in time.
I need to do an order from ClearBags.com.I am ordering the card jackets (CJA2) and also clear bags with flaps (VL54). There is a discount with large order numbers (but it's 30 packages for the card sleeves!!) Arlene suggested that others on this thread might be in need of supplies from there so I thought I would ask. I will be placing my order on May 1st .If anyone has anything they wish to order from ClearBags.com just let me know by April 30th and I will be happy to combine it with my order. I will let you know your bill amount and you can send me a check. Arlene has graciously offered to deliver the orders to the Syracuse gathering, since I can not attend due to other commitments. I need to order by May 1st, as I am going away on vacation the following week and want these to arrive in plenty of time to get them to you in Syracuse....
I have only met a few of you on this thread, but look forward to meeting more of you at a future gathering.

Las Vegas! No, I didn't come back with more money than I left with.
Any fun reason you choose to go there?? Was it warm? I've actually never been.... kinda scared because I watched too much CSI - there's lots of crazy crimes in Vegas!! (but of course not in any other city I've visited... or lived in...) :rolleyes:
Oh, and to answer the other part of Kari's question -- one of the days we were there was the coldest for that date ever on record for LV! We did have some nice warm days to go along with it, like the day we went to the Grand Canyon. That was beautiful (day and Canyon).
I've been to Vegas several times and never have any troubles. Although the congestion and construction are aggravating!! It's just like anyplace else, once you know the "lay of the land" you are fine going anywhere you want to go. I'm not a fan of big cities because of the unfamiliarity, not because of the crime rate.
AND... if you've never been, it certainly should be on your bucket list!! Las Vegas AND the Grand Canyon!!!

Ladies, I've started to look more closely at the food list. We are heavy in some areas and light in others, which is no surprise, and I know some have also not yet pinpointed their contribution.
