How old is Annabella? Normally I bring my built in babysitter. Our youngest, but I don't know if anyone else will be coming with me on this trip, as they are all in college. (Four kids in college and my hubby.)
One dog will be coming with me though. They love going to the country to hang out.
Annabella is 3-1/2 going on 30! She is a pretty funny kid, but will probably want to stamp too if I bring her along! (Certainly a chip off the old block KWIM?!)
I think I might be interested in this.... I loved the one I went to in CT at the firehouse, where I met Kari and Gayla. We now live in S.C. and this would be an easy trip. Please keep me in mind and I will keep checking in.
 Anavon you're going to go too?!?! I wonder if I can make my DH request time off so I can go?! How exciting it'll be to meet all of you!
Well, that was a cute store. I haven't had the internet for the past three days, because it is 13 bucks a day here at the hotel. So I made two days only that I would pay for it out of the week.
My husband told me this morning when he retires from the military he wants to run for congress when the gentleman there retires in our part of NC.

It should be about 8 years until he retires unless something else happens before then and after he gets his PhD which he will be working on for the next three years.
Yeah! Annie, you are the first to actually commit to signing up

okay... that came out kind of bad.... I have friends, ;). I meant that I am trying to get them to sign-up too!
Also, you can put my sign-in name as ANAVON.... that is my real name! I never pay any attention to ANNIE (it not my favorite, just a business and tag name for here)
Well, I AM trying to make friends in the area, since all I know is my husband's family. They are all wonderful of course, but not one of them has a crafty bone in their body!

Christine, it was definitely a good thing for our daughter. Not only the pay, but it helped her keep her job she thinks this year when her school was cutting teachers.

I am definitely looking forward to the higher pay, and I also figure it will make me more "hireable" if I ever decide to come back home. Jobs in NY are so hard to come by. Right now I am pretty happy in NC though so, right now a higher salary and job security would be good for me!

Bumping you gals to the top.... sure would be fun to stamp a winter weekend away in balmy NC.... Chris, what would your weekend plans be, exactly??
Well, it would depend. I would probably spend at least one night in the area if no one else comes. Go to the Science Museum and such. If no one else comes then I might bring my bike and do some riding on sunday but if you gayla, nancy, etc come (or I've made tons of new friends) then just chilling with people. Cannot take any more days off but can get to Raleigh by 630 or 7ish depending on traffic...

OK ladies I've been subbing & trying to keep up with what's going on. Have we set a date to get together? Is there a weekend that we're talking about or is it an evening or is it both? Inquiring mind wants to know. LOL

Sorry I got this one and the Raleigh Lunch group mixed up.
Back to this one, I'm still really wanting to attend but will have to let you know closer to the date.

You are all welcome to stay at the house if you are coming from out of town. If there is enough room for others who live nearby, you can stay there too. We have six beds, a couch, and three air matresses that are available.

so ... Kari....... if you go, you will fly?? I can't do that for sure.
But, gas would be about $200 round trip. Which I'm sure Gayla would split... I don't know if Pat would be back in time?? would she??

Hi Nancy,
as much as I would love to do this gathering, I think I will have to pass, are you home yet? We fly to FL on Thursday, then up to Debs for Christmas, so excited, I get to see my beautiful granddaughters. If the movie "Last Song" comes out, with Hannah Montana, go see it, my grand daughter Hannah is in it, it comes out soon.
Pat
I have two more stampers anxious to sign up with me. Looking forward to the form. One is a former SU demo and the other was a TAC demo. Both are very talented. We can't wait.
I am in Raeford (Fort Bragg) and would love to join, but my husband is deployed. I'll have to watch for the next go round. It's been over a year, but a group of us got together in Sanford, it was a lot of fun. I hope you all have a great day!
happy stamping!

Let us know when you guys get together in Sanford. I'm hoping that next year I will be able to do more for me instead of everything fo rmy family (not that I mind doing for them, but need some me time). It sounds fun.
