Wow this sounds great. I will commit to something also. I will have to think on it though. I sent big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, so I need an idea.
Thanks ladies, for keeping Katherine in your thoughts and prayers. Yes I have her snail mail address, and would be happy to do the shipping.

My son liked Beef Jerky and Slim Jim beef snacks when he was in Iraq. He also liked those Crystal Light powder packets. All they had to add was bottled water. I will bring some Beef Jerky, Slim Jims, and powdered drink packets.
Thanks Gillian for posting the pics of the cards. Sounds like a great time was had by all. Tracy just came by to say hi, and didn't stamp? I guess if I had a harley, I wouldn't miss one day of stamping either.
LOL, hey guys, just checking in! Yes, that entire weekend was so wonderful I spent it on the Harley. I was out 6-7 hours on Saturday and then 4-5 on Sunday. It was GREAT!! But, the bike is all put up for the winter now. :-( So, now I can stamp and scrap. I am planning on coming to Julie's on 12th and also wanted you all to know that Theresa's stamp camp is Friday night 11th. Should be loads of fun. Plus, Autumn has scheduled her January crop for the 9th and I'm planning on attending that.
I bought two GREAT craft items while I was home for turkey day - the first is the Cricut Expression and the other is a Gypsy. So I'm definitely planning on crafting!!
Anyway, hope to see you all at Julie's and/or Theresa's!!

Please bring a friend! I need a rough estimate of how many, so I have enough materials for everyone. This should be a fun filled day! We will start at 1:00 and go till we are crafted out (:
P.S. I have officially started my Copic Club sign up, starting In January. Details are on my Blog.
Books sound like a great idea and so do nuts. I know that Katherine would like the nuts for sure. Julie, do you have any little kit type thing we could send her, so she can stamp a few cards herself? I am thinking of SU's sets that come with a mini stamp pad and a few small stamps and paper? I don't know just thinking of things she would enjoy in Iraq. Also Julie, I will be bringing my friend Bonnie on Saturday the 12th if you have the room.
See you all soon. We are back in ST Louis as of Sunday. Tracy, I am signed up for going to Theresa's on the 11th too. See you there

Hi Dee, I do have several mini sets and could easily make up a kit. Many of my mini sets are acrylic, does she like them? The nice thing is they are so small and come with mini ink. Do you want them to be Christmas themed? I will be in on this donation cause as well. I have been thinking of her! Do we need to chip in $ for shipping as well, a few dollars each would go a long way. Please bring friends, I have tons of supplies and a fun line up of Christmas Crafts this year. :-D
Julie Katherine does use acrylic stamps, but has no plastic blocks, so we would need to include one of those. Lets think of spring for a kit though, because it will be too late for Christmas by the time she gets the box we send. If anyone wants to send a Christmas card, by snail mail, I will send you her address, if you pm me.
See ya all soon.

Well I have a cute kit that is more like Valentines (two love owls). I have small blocks around here somewhere. I need to stock shelves!!!! We can work out the kit on Saturday. I will put in some adhesive as well. This should be a great effort!!!!
Julie, I have another friend Maggie that would llike to come also on Saturday. Do you still have space available? I will need 3 spaces if possible. Bonnie, Maggie, and me. Sounds like those kits will be really nice. I can chip in and help with the cost on those if you want.
Thanks so much

I'm hoping that by the time you guys get together in February I'll be able to join you.
Baby is due tomorrow, but he isn't showing any signs of wanting to leave his current home. I"ve been dialated to 2 for 2 weeks now. If nothing happens before then, I'm going to be induced on 12/28. I don't really want to spend Christmas in the hospital, so I hope he waits until the 26th, if he's going to show up without help.
Melissa, I hope you have had your sweet little baby by now. I am so happy for you (: What a special time of the year to have a baby!!!!! We are looking forward to seeing pictures.
It was our 12 year wedding anniversary yesterday, so I love this time of the year. We went to see White Christmas at the Fox and to the Melting Pot for dinner. It was a wonderful day!!!!

Hi everyone. I would love to participate in the January 19th Shoebox swap. I have been subscribing to this thread for a while, but November and December were hectic for me. Please add me to the list and let me know any details! Happy New Year! Susan
Hi ladies Hope all of you have recovered from Christmas by now, and are preparing to bring in the new year. Speaking of the new year, I had the wrong Jan Saturday date on the thread. Karen brought it to my attention, and I made the correction. Hopefully it will be a good date for all to gather at my place on Saturday Jan 23rd.
Melissa, let us know asap about your little darling. Will be so excited to hear from you soon. Susan, I added you to the list and will be sending out pm's with my address the Saturday before hand. We will be happy to have you join us.

Joel David was born 12/28 at 12:48pm. He was 7lbs 3oz and 20 inches long.
I ended up being induced. I went into the hospital on Sunday night. Labor started about 2:30 am Monday morning. Epidurals are wonderful things.
We got to come home on Wednesday. Joel is a little jaundice, so he has to sleep on a light bed, but other than that things are going fairly well. We hope to get rid of the light bed on Monday.
Stay at home mom=SAHM
Melissa congrats. Glad to hear all went well. Can't wait to meet your little Joel.
No theme for this month at my house. Glad to hear you can make it on the 23rd,Tracy. Will add you to the list.
Dee
It has been way too long for me to get together with you all. Dee could you add me to the list please? I have just about recovered from the holiday madness and am ready to get back to some normal card making.
Melissa,
Congrats on baby Joel, he is adorable!!! I love that picture of him.
