Just reminding everyone that our January pre registration deadline is nearing. At that point we will decide if we need bigger accommodations. If the decision is made to stay in the same place, we will have to limit attendance to 40 people. If you know of anyone who would like to attend and hasn't signed up yet have them pm or email me soon. Thanks for helping to get the word out there.

Hope everyone had a great holiday. We were in Illinois, and then had 12 people here for a week! We are alone now, and enjoying the peace and quiet. However, I'm really missing the grandkids!

I'm a friend of GrandmaUpNorth and just received a call that she is in the hospital with pneumonia. She has asked me to contact as many as possible about this event. I'm hoping if there are a few stragglers that they will still be able to attend. You can count me in and I'm sure there will be others.

Because of the increased interest in this event, we are looking for those who may commit to those dates. There is a possibility we may have to find bigger accommodations. We'd like to have an approximate number by January 10. We will soon be contacting those who attended last year by PM or e-mail. Any others with questions or if you would like to sign up may do so by posting here.
Hello...the Creative Spirits gals have a website with contact info under creative spirits stamping in Ironwood Michigan. Their store rocks...and they have the greatest selection of up north and nature stamps I've ever seen in a retail store.
If you do have too many attendees and need to change locale, I work at the Best Western Lake Superior Lodge in Ashland, WI. We're right on the lake and have all the amenities you could want for this type of event. We'd love to help if needed. Look forward to meeting you. Thanks, Jerri

Hi...you are so welcome. Phyllis and I love the gals in Ironwood and love this craft. We are attending a class in their store this Thursday evening. It is being taught by a representative from The Angel Company. The class is for an adorable valentine coupon book...you can fill in the blanks with your own coupon items. My guy is going to love it!!
Anything we can do to help promote this event and our passion is A-OK with us! I'll check back soon...Jerri
Joann.....I'd be willing to post flyers in the Marquette area for you! I can even make up something with the basic info if that would help! Also..have you given any thought to perhaps having a sale of stamping supplies we no longer use? Maybe it could be set up in the room we ate lunch in? I'm sure I'm not the only one who has those things I really needed that I no longer use! Perhaps we could donate a percentage of sales to the areas shelters. I would imagine we would have to limit the number of items brought due to space....but please give it some thought! I'd be willing to oversee this sale. Thanks Maggi

Hi everyone. Here's still hoping I can make it to your big event! I've been checking all you yoopers out (looking at profiles and galleries) trying to get to know everyone, so I guess I should introduce myself:
I'm Karen Trueman a yooper wanna-be. My parents were born/raised in the Houghton/Hancock area and we vacationed up there every summer. I still have the house my Dad was born in.
I'm an RN working in Neonatal Intensive care (for 28 years!) and recently dropped down to part time 2 twelve hour shifts per week. I'm married, no kids, but have two big furbabies, Briards Rika and Spenser.
I started stamping about 4-5 years ago, got hooked in by my Friend/SU discount demo known as labullard here. We first met through the dogs which we both show and belong to the MI-OH Briard club.
