I'll be honest I wasn't going to get on today as this is my last full day with Squidward. but he has decided that that means it's the last day he has to get cracking on the Honey Do list... go figure.
Both Stacy and Amanda congratulated me before I even had a chance to find out so many thanks to everyone who voted for lil ole me! I am ashamed to admit I didn't even vote myself, I have been otherwise.. distracted...
Anywho, I do know that I would like the next card to be a 'Thinking of You' card.. did you all know that Jen of jetstudio fame was diagnosed with stage 1 colon cancer a few weeks ago?
Jen has been to a few of our local SBS and she's always a delight to talk to.
So I thought I'd make mine and send it along to her as well as make a few extras to start a stash to send off to Squidward so that he has NO excuse to not send me cards....
just give me some time to find a sketch to take most of the hard work out of it for you!
I had seen her posting on Facebook about doctors and tests and going to the oncologist but wasn't quite sure exactly what was happening. Sending good thoughts her way and will need to get a card made for her!
Oh my goodness, I did not know that! She is so young! I will be happy to send her the card that I make for the challenge as well. She is a very sweet person and I have enjoyed stamping and chatting with her.
Anyone have her address? I thought I did but I can't find it...
OMGoodness I'm so sorry to hear that about Jen. She is such a nice person. Need to dig around today and find her address. I think I have it in the swap stuff. If I find it I'll let you all know. I'm off to PM her now.

Dawn Marie, I loved the sketch. I hate to admitt I went froggy wild with it, but I did. There are two different layers of embossed papers (different folders) along with all the other little goodies. So much fun. I'm so ready for spring and easter!
Good Morning Maryland. I went to PhotoScraps yesterday and only spent $20. The big expense was new cutterbee scissors, but I went specifically for 2 new copics that I needed last night. I hate buying them from a store when I know I can get them cheaper, but sometimes you just gotta!
here's mine. just killin' time til the car rental people come. he's got some last minute stuff on base, then he is bringing lunch home at some point and then.. he's off.
I almost imposed additional restrictions.. My card, I am proud to say is ENTIRELY scraps! even the card base. I don't know what it is about this particular collection of DP(thanks again Tracy!) but I am really feelin' the groove.

The heart stamp is from an old SU level three hostess set and I used a flower stem from another set and the poem I printed from off line. I can send you copies of what I found if you would like them.

St. Patty day is always hard, since it will be close to my Dad's birthday who passed on 7 years ago around that time.

I don't make the weather...I'm just reporting what I see out my window. When I looked it up the report is out of Frederick and says we are getting a light rain....funny, this is the whitest rain I have ever seen. None of it is supposed to stick and we are only supposed to get 1-3" in the next 24 hours, you all may not even get that depending on how this front moves through.

Morning All!!! Have my coffee tortured my poor doggie (have to deep clean her ear and medicate) and now ready for work!

Don't you just love doing that?? With Sammy's chronic ear infections I have to clean and medicate his ears frequently. He's gotten to the point now that when he sees me pick up the bottle he takes off running away from me! I keep telling him it's for his own good but I don't think he believes me.

Out of curiosity...do you all still have snow on the ground in AA? I was amazed that I could see grass down there last week. Since we have little patches of green stuff peaking out in places now I figured yours might be gone by now. Oh, and it is no longer snow, more like a snow cone consistency....how do I know? I walked out in it today to hang home made pretzel bird feeders on our crab apple tree.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love the fact that I can get to anything in town in under 5 miles, and there is no road rage or nasty neighbors and I don't have to deal with Piscern????
