Tracy, is it too late be be added in? If not, count me in please.
I checked it out today and I love it! it's really small right now but they're super excited to expand. you wouldn't really notice it's small though because they have TONS of stuff. my kids went nuts we're making the target mailboxes as valentines in their class. and the staff is VERY nice. family owned kind of operation. I'm loving it! wouldn't have paid attention to it if I hadn't been actually looking around mr militaria because everything's so crowded in there. once they get their name out though it will be ok.

Thanks for the info about the store. I'll have to check it out next time I'm up that way. Have you went to Memories In Bloom?

yeah i've been there a lot too. haven't been lately b/c it's on the other side of clarksville for us and traffic is insane usually at the times we can go i'm a nurse and have to handle people all day so i tend to avoid them when i'm off lol. Plus I'm a SU! demo now so I try to buy most of my stuff through them:rolleyes: but I am getting kinda spoiled with this new store. I'm an equal opportunity stamper what can i say!

question....I know we're doing the shoebox swap, but the rest of the time is it just going to be like an open crop kinda thing? this may have been answered already but I've called myself scouring through this thread to find it and I gave up hehe... My mom may be interested in coming too (if we have room) if she can get some scrappin done. Her ADD kicks in after a while and she gets bored making cards all day lol...i guess that's where I get my spastic attention span from....

Each participant will bring enough supplies for everyone else to make a FULL card of their sample card. You can either put each persons supplies in a ziploc or you can just have your stuff laid out for us to use. If you use glitter on your card, bring it...dimensionals, bring them.
Also the cards need to be high quality cardstock.
It doesn't *have* to be SU! as long as it is nice! Also, feel free to use any companies stamps..SU! CTMH, Inky Antics, Bella,Papertrey Ink.
You will need to bring your supplies for you to carry to each table. Glue, scissors, stamp cleaner, etc.
**If I have left something out, please add.**
this is my first shoebox swap so I'm sure i'll ask tons of questions b4 it's over would it be ok if I had everything together in a kit, prestamped/cut/everything? If we have as many people as we're thinking it would take 4EVA for everyone to use one set of stamps and passing it all around? or maybe I'm just not sure how the whole organization works lol I am green at this ya know :p

Finally! I have tons of info for you to check out in post #1...I decided not to share it here as it was quite a bit in that post...Instead here's a link:
Include your name on the prize, so the winner knows who to thank
*Door prizes are optional. If you choose not to bring one, please do not place your name in the pot for one.
*We will be drawing names all day for the door prizes. Although I'll probably have to be reminded because I'll get busy stamping and forget! ;)

To be quite honest, with a group of this size we will be mainly working on the Shoebox Swaps. We do have a few contests and possibly a game but other than that it will be all about the stampin and chattin (while we stamp of course!). I am not one to sit still for long either but let me just say that if you have never attended such an event...you are in for a treat and you definitely won't get bored!

I think this will help...First a question...Have any of you been to an SU! Stamp Camp? If so, this is quite similar.
For those that have not...continue reading.
Each of us will have a stamping station set up for our Cards (or projects). At your station you should have your sample card, directions , and all supplies needed to complete your card or project (except for the Basic Supply Kit items): all items should be placed in a baggie. Only one person at a time will be using the supplies you have provided.
You will go from station to station to complete each individual card (or project). Once you are done at a station- move to the next station until you have finished all Shoebox Swaps.
VIP: EVERYONE SHOULD BRING ALL CARD (PROJECT) KITS in a ZIPLOC BAG that include all cut cardstock, embellishments, and instructions (recipes). You will need to have enough for everyone to complete the card or project you have created for this swap.
I hope this information helps but if you are still a bit confused feel free to ask more questions.

EVERYONE MUST READ POST #1 & RESPOND via PM. Thanks!
Hello again!
I just want to make sure that everyone reads and understands the Information provided in Post #1. Since I am not doing a registration form or a pre-payment for this event...I need to make sure that you do read all information provided and understand that you are responsible for paying the FEE for our room rental. Once you have read post #1 please PM me that you have read the post and you do still plan to attend this event.
I will give you several days to respond but if I don't hear from you I will need to remove your name from the list. Thanks for your cooperation!

Be sure to read the first post in this thread again. Tracy updates it with all the latest info about the event so that we don't have to scroll through all the posts.......
HAR HAR HAR! You are just too funny! I think it's Mar 1....so much for super saturday...we need to figure out childcare!
You all don't mind if Shannon and I bring our kids right? They are perfect little angels and there would only be 6 of them;) .
Hope you all have a nice night.
WOW Jen! What a GREAT idea!!! Our kids can clean up after everyone....HA HA HA! I'm sure all you wonderful ladies won't mind 6 children under the age of 8 would you????
Well...... since I don't have any children to bring, I'll bring my set of SU! markers, ink pads and good cardstock to keep them busy. Should I include tiny embellishments, paper snips and my craft/rubber scissors?
Oh, too funny.....can you imagine a romper room full of kids while we are trying to be crafty??? Well, my motto is...just hype them up on sugar and caffeine and let them run til they drop! (well, maybe that doesn't really work......)
Okay, so i am beginning to think some of you may have taken me a little seriously.....I will totally be finding someone to watch my kids! (Does the electronic babysitter count?? LOL)
I am totally going to take advantage of a full day on my own! Can't Wait!
You didn't really think I would bring my 13 year old did you? Can you imagine the griping we would all hear all day, along with the crappy music he listens to and sings constantly?
