I never say that there's too many. lol I am of the theory the more the merrier...but the consensus shows it to be 30. I'm not one to turn people away but I will comply with the groups wishes. *pout* ;)
We could always have 2 groups to swap with...IE: for a group of 40- You would bring 20 completed projects to swap with the group that you are not in. You would stamp the 20 for the group that you are in. Make sense? This is the plan for the next Collinsville, IL Gathering. This way everyone gets all the projects that are brought to the event.
If that is too much for this gathering we can just keep it simple and stick to 30. If we need to split up into groups of 15 we could do that.
Ok, SO let me make sure I get this.......All we have to supply pretty much is the paper and embellies for the card right. Each person will have to bring their own scissors, glue, etc for attachment correct? If thats the case I "think" I may be able to handle that. LoL
Tracy, sorry to bother you again, but my mom isn't going to be able to make it.... so you can remove her name and open up a spot for someone else.
I'm game for whatever y'all think is best.... allowing more people in and having two groups and swaps or just having one smaller group. This will be my first shoebox swap, but I can learn by fire! lol

Yes, all you will supply is the paper and whatever embellishments go on your card. Also, your card doesn't have to be full of embellishments. Sometimes simple cards are the most beautiful ones. You will bring your own scissors, glue, whatever else you tend to use when you create a card. You will take those things with you to each table to create the other cards that people have brought. I really hope you will be able to come!

I got mine Monday or Tuesday...I was sick, so it was nice to see! I had already been on the spoiler threads....But i really like the new military set. I will probably buy it (and knowing me, not use it!!! LOL) So many pretty new things!!!
Well, I look at it like this........He dont ask me if he can go to the Gym so why should I ask when I wanna go scrap/stamp?! LoL
Exactly! I think at this point my husband (Cody) doesn't really mind. He knows that when we go to Clarksville, we are going to stop at Hobby Lobby and Memories in Bloom. It's just part of the day..haha!
No, he is actually really great about it. He'll come and sit in my craft room with me while I play ( I was going to put work, but I don't consider something fun work). He even made me a really nice shelf for my room. Maybe I'll post up some pictures.
Ya'll have a great day!

Happy Thursday!! Kiddos have 1/2 day of school today. I have lots to do before they get home. Presents to wrap for them and get under the tree. This afternoon, DS has bass guitar practice, DD has dance class this even, and I need to start baking for Saturday's arrival of my MIL. At least I have all of the closets and cabinets ready for her inspection!!

Good morning! Today is cold with an overcast. It is perfect weather to snuggle up with a good set of stamps and a cuppa joe. I plan to get all of my swaps caught up and sent out by the week-end. This afternoon I have to make a run to Scrappacchino's for supplies. Mom gave me money for Christmas and I plan to stock up on stuff to play with!!

Monica,
I've been there a few times. They have nice products but the variety has always been slim. It a small store in Opry Mills Mall. MIB in Clarksville will have pretty much what they do and much more. Who knows it may have changed over the past month...it's a fairly new store.
Hope that helps!
Welcome to KY....when do you arrive?
