I might want some embellishments but I got an error when i tried to get past page one so all I have on my wishlist (the one in my head) are the clear balloon ribbon slides (2/$1.00). I think they'll make it easier to make fun cards for kids!
If I get a chance to look again later I'll let you know if I am going to place an order (still need to place my SU order ... decided to spend enough for level 1 hostess bennies) but some of the retiring accessories I wanted are already sold out so I am rethinking my list. I don't want to miss out on bennies 'coz I ordered "just enough" and something ends up being sold out.
Don't worry, you will know if it's gone when you enter your order. But it's an odd error message. Out of stock items are showing as "item not valid".
I hope so..... not sure how much time we'll have. We're going to Kyla's school to get her roommate, laptop, info... give them $$ all sorts of stuff.
Hope to get to the Cheesecake Factory too???
MMMmmmmmm............ cheesecake!!!!!! Yummy! Have fun, can't wait to hear about your impressions of the stamp store (if you make it) - I have heard it is overpriced, but I'm not sure if the people who said that knew what they might be getting there, ya know?
Anyway, enjoy the trip and wave to LLBean if you're at the Cheesecake Factory!

Do you like it? I had one in my hand a week or so ago but thought I'd wait for a better coupon...LOL. I'm not sure how much I'd use one.
I used it the other day to set one of the big eyelets and it worked great as you can get a little better leverage with the pull down handle. I do have weak wrists though so maybe it's just me. For $24.00 I had to have it.
($39.99 minus 40% off) WOO HOO. I found it at Michaels in Utica.
I know, but I didn't go to the rochester gathering and don't really "know" those girls. I'm shy ya know:rolleyes:
Okay ... none of us here are going to believe that ya know (but I am shy ... okay I used to be shy ... have a certificate naming me the quietest girl in the 8th grade!)

I won't believe it until I see the certificate!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never got that kind of award, but I think I've actually gotten more shy as I've aged....
I'm checking in to see how much work I signed up for! Looking forward to seeing everyone. I'll have pull a recipe etc out of somewhere soon, so I can get busy on it/them!!

It's probably packed but if I happen across it I will make a copy and show it to you.
And it was my return to college (as an adult) that made me lose my shyness. When I realized that as much as 20% of my grade could be "forfeited" because I was reluctant to speak in class I transformed into a talking machine (BTW I got an "A" in logical thinking and the prof used my re-typed notes for his study group - charts and everything thanks to being one of the few back then with a home computer.) Y'all can blame Prof. McCluskey!
I liked the stamping store..... they had a good selection of lots of things... many different inks and markers and h2o's, stuff like that. Many different companies represented, but not nearly as many stamps as BSS. Not alot of paper either. I'd go again. Prices were in line with other places. I got a stencil for 6.95, a tapestry set for 12.25, and 3 small packages of the mini buttons for the shirts... 24 for $1. Not bad at all.

Glad you able to shop and thanks for the review of the store.
They had lots of single wood mounted stamps, but not many unmounted sets like we've been seeing lately. But LOTS of accessories, like ink and such. I didn't have much time as we needed to meet my niece for an early dinner. But I'd definitely go again. It was only about 9 miles from the college.

;) I won't blame him, I'll thank him!!! If you were still too shy you probably wouldn't chat with us!
so kari are you blowing your workshop?
i'm guessing yes
Still undecided, but leaning heavily toward Yes. We'll see how I feel in the morning, I'll be up anyway with the pups!!! Joe was neutral about the whole idea.... of course, he'd rather I didn't get to hang around the house anymore if he has to work!!!
