Hello all! I have been lurking since day 1 because I wanted to go to your stamping day but can't, so I'm getting my CNY fix vicarously through you!
I participated in a "make me laugh ATC swap" and somehow Starving Artistamps found my card and invited me to share it on their blog. It's not a magazine but I certainly got a thrill to be asked!
Tina - I am going to make your spinach/mushroom salad - sounds yum!
It really is tasty and if you like spicy food try using some chili-flavored oil instead of (all) olive oil. I saw Ming Tsai do something very much like this a loooong time ago, actually made the spicy version and recently tried it again.
Kari ... if you want to use the sauteed spinach and mushroom recipe feel free --- I doubt I'll be doing recipe swaps anytime soon.
Also, congrats for your ATC being showcased. It's really nice!

Gail - I am so bad about keeping up with my blog that the entry you were looking at was back in February! At first I was thinking my health related issue was amnesia until I saw your second post!! Thanks for thinking of me!
I hope to see you all in November!

There were some questions here about the shoebox project. Most everyone will do cards, but they are full cards not card fronts. Same for the 4 completed projects.
The swaps are fronts.
Yes, I'll try to check in periodically but it is too early for any news yet. We dined last night at the Blue Iguana (Kathi's fave) but it was a VERY long day and a tiring flight.
Ok, hoping to do my recipe swaps today... just printed the recipe, and I know what layout I'm working with.... as long as there are no major snags, I should be able to get these babies done!
aaaaacckk!!! I worked at my PT job tonight and found out one of my coworkers has to have surgery and will be off all next week! So the mgr. gave me extra hours...Sunday 12-5, Mon, Weds., and Friday nights 5-9. I was planning on having some of that time to finish up my stuff for the 9th. Now I'll be busting my a** to get it all done by Sunday noon. I sorta have my card fronts planned and started, but am not real pleased with them...was going to tinker some more. Haven't decided on shoe box yet. Glad I didn't sign up for any more swaps.
