I can't believe theres a group of CNY ladies on here that scrap and stamp together! This was a nice surprise to find this! I moved to Florida last May and I am sick of it already but cant move back until my lease ends, so February. It seems like forever.

we get together lots and when we can't we participate in shares and bulk buys. It's a wonderful thing:) Only a CNY'er would WANT to move from florida to NY in februrary :)

LOL :) I try to be good sometimes :) That .79 stamp that I bought has gotten more use than anything I bought at the expo!

My first born graduated from 6th grade tonight - and he was awarded the citizenship award! He was 1 of 4 (out of 89 students) and the only boy to receive it. What a proud mom I am! By the time we got out of the gym to congratulate him, he already had the snow cone:cool:

I live south of CNY (but not as far as you :rolleyes:) in Dutchess County. I have been to three CNY gatherings and loved each one and always hope I can go to the next one but am glad I have been to at least 1 a year since May 2007.

Hopefully we will meet IRL someday.

BTW, where in FL do you live (my sis and BIL live in one of the cities that starts with Port St. ...)?

Port St. Lucie?? Not sure where that is, just have heard of it before.

I live in a small city called North Port (it is right on the gulf coast, half way between Sarasota & Ft. Myers (about 25 minutes either way). About an hour and 15 minutes south of Tampa. Florida is beautiful to vacation in, but as I learned rather quickly, it is not the place for me! I love the seasons and I love the snow!:mrgreen:

Probably ... I just always forget but they are only there about half the year.

I am not very good at geography (and often too lazy to map it). How far is North Port from Miami? There's a teensy tiny itsy bitsy chance of DH being transferred to a town a little north of Miami but most likely his job will just end (company announced over a year ago that they are closing his location in 2009 or early 2010).

My family spent a summer at my grandparents' house (WPB) back in HS. It was the first summer after DH (well he's my DH now :-D) and I started dating so I thought it was awful. That was 25 years ago!

We usually stay home so I am not sure how much the weather would bother us. I think we would go out more but for short periods of time. I do not like cold (and I like snow less) but I do enjoy the changing seasons, esp. north of NYC. I'd love to be rich enough to live in the Northeast for Spring and Autumn and travel/live elsewhere for Summer and Winter (we all have dreams :-D).

Welcome Jordan! I met my husband while he was in the Navy, so I got stuck in Delaware and then Mississippi. I couldn't wait to get home and landed in Binghamton. I TOTALLY understand.

I miss Nancy. Just wondering yesterday when she is coming back... She probably will return after I leave for vacation. :(

He does - he goes to the Jr. High where the 3 elementary schools will combine and then there will be around 260 7th graders!
