I love my FC's. I'm a habitual doodler and shader. I don't play with the colored set very often, but I've replaced my 8 PITT grey / blacks a couple of times. Worth every penny - especially when I find them at the Notions outlet store for 75% off!:mrgreen:

Makring my spot before I start getting motivated for the day.

I signed up to take a three day tour of duty for the Holiday House at the kids' school around my CPO xmas party today and the open house / holiday party for our new facility on Thursday.

Miss J and I hauled up the totes of decorations from the basement last night, and in spite of the freezing rain that turned my sweater into a giant burgundy boobsicle, I hung up icicle lights last night, as a suprise for Ward. ( must've worked because he made spinach for me for dinner and sat on the couch with me through Prison Break )

The tree goes up this evening... can't get out of it now, since Christmas vomited all over my dining room! LOL

..and now I will go slug down some coffee, and head outside to salt the treacherous front walk of the old lady across the street. After getting less than an inch shy of two feet of snow since Thursday morning, I am so DONE with the hazards of winter!

good morning, I am home again with sick ds. he seems to be better todaybut I am not taking any chances. His winter concert is tomorrow night and he is in both choruses, and all the bands. This is his passion and I would hate for him to miss it. Not to mention, dh is flying home from his meeting in Denver to see the concert.

After much debate I came into work this morning. Bus was on-time although getting up the hill to the bus stop was challenging. Not many are here, and we aren't expecting many to show either. So far - we have about 3.5" of snow on the ground from last night, expecting another 4-6" before it's all said and done. About 100 area schools have cancelled, including the city of Madison. Usually if Madison closes, I don't go in, but I didn't find out about the closing until after I had gotten on the bus to get to work. My wrist is "there" sore, achy etc. I'm gonna take a few pain killers and try to make it through most of the day. My feeling is I will be taking off 2-3 hours early before the buses shut down early (which I am totally expecting!)
