Sorry I am down with a gift again from my grandson, bad cold!! Hope it does not turn into bronchitis like the last time he was so generous! I feel so bad for him, he keeps picking up colds all the time! He now has asthma like me so we get everything worse then normal.
Ugh Ann. No fun! Four of my 6 kiddos had asthma as little ones but only one continued into childhood and one still has exercise induced asthma. It can be rough while they're picking up frequent colds.
Gail, the key to a fuller tree is to only glue down the end of the branch!! If you watch Kitty's video on it you will see how she carefully places just the end of the branch in a dot of glue!!
I love the punch so much I ordered another just in case mine broke as I remember someone said during Falliday Fest, and they finished their card with another punch!
I liked her hint to punch through foil and wax paper every so often to keep things going smoothly. I'm starting easy on myself punching out newsprint first. I have a catalog with a photo of bare trees on the front that I'm trying out first.I have carpal tunnel so I have to be smart with my hands.

I'm not sure if I have carpal tunnel or arthritis, but somedays the pains is really bad and then days like today I have not pain! I used the foil and wax paper trick and it DID help.

I feel your pain! I had to stop babysitting my grandson for just that reason. The last time I babysat him, I was sick for a month! Hope you (and your grandson) are feeling better soon!:(

Oh my goodness Thank you all! Wow, I have been working all day and came home to the news. I called my DH and told him that the card Lydia put was the one he helped me make by doing all the punching.

Boo Hoo! All the prizes drawn and I didn't win anything this year. I have to say though, these tutorials, challenges and card drives were really fun. I enjoyed having something that forced me to do a few projects that I had intended to do for a while.

Congratulations to all the winners (I still can't believe I'm one of them, I've never entered anything like this before!) and a HUGE THANK YOU to all the people who worked so hard to put this together! It was so much fun. And even though I didn't attain Yeti status, I still learned so much and had a great time getting my hands dirty with shaving cream and other fun ingredients. The best part was meeting new friends and stretching my creativity a little farther at SCS.
I really appreciate all the hard work the organizer's put into this and can't wait til next time!

Got my tree made last night and turned it into a card today!Snowy Evergreen Mix
Thanks for the encouragement and tips. It really wasn't that hard but using newspaper branches, I had a bit of trouble with tearing and I think I probably ended up using more punched branches. I sprayed my tree after I had it assembled thinking to add just a little color...well the spray ended up more like a stream so it was more green than I'd planned. I may make more so I'd appreciate opinions on with or without spray.

I'm still waiting for you to show up at my door Kathy. LOL! Did my one and only craft show today. took in $250.00 which is big for me. Sold out of the 4 pak Hot chocolate mix and candy cane boxes I had made, sold out of santa and snowman giant clothespin magnet clips(okay, only had 6)....sold 1 of 4 Nugget Cakes and that included reducing price a huge amount. Popcorn snowmen sold fairly well, frosty treat paks made a good start. Otherwise it was some of this and some of that.

I didn't know if you waited until everyone filled out the form or if you sent them in as you get them. So we just wait now to hear from the sponsor?
Yes - we send them all at once, so we do wait for everyone. Lori will send everything to the sponsors and in some cases she will give you the redemption codes, in some cases the sponsors will contact you.
