if you are pushing for Yeti, or for any of these challenges where there are sponsors. someone has to "double check" those posts that people make after the fact that they really did follow the directions.

so, putting the keyword in the title makes it easier to read off in that regard. I use it for my own self knowing there are days I do not play ( like Thursdays I drive all day just sat down and its too dark to play now) So, when I am building a list and comparing it to a spread sheet I can find the ones I have done ( and loaded) and check them off easier.

I have a question..............I could swear I read someplace that to qualify for Yeti status, we had to complete at least 5 of the tutorial challenges, but I can't seem to find that info anywhere. Can someone please tell me the protocol for the tutorial challenges? Hugs Ladies.

And remember that tutorials are not uploaded to the falliday fest gallery. They are uploaded to the technique gallery....holiday blitz....then the name of the tutorial.

Husband says I am not allowed to drive tomorrow yet so I will not be going to lunch with a friend...

Maybe, just maybe I will spend that time in the stamp room making a card!

Had to take a break from the stamping to fix a belated birthday supper for my 16 yo son. I made the pumpkin cobbler that I put in the recipe box as well as his favorite Corned Beef and Cabbage. Then it was Project Runway night. I did color while I watched though....trying the Copic coloring technique but with the Chameleon Pens I won in a previous challenge!

Got another card done tonight, and 2 more started! I will have to look at pics of the angel template cards, since I'm not quite sure I can figure out what I'm doing just from the pattern pieces. :confused: Thank heavens the deadline isn't for several days yet! :cool:

So happy that we have next week to catch up. I am determined to aim for YETI status. Thanks for using my masquerade card on the SCS facebook page. One of my favorite cards so far in this challenge.

I'm not on Facebook but...I just hopped over there to check out Tracie's card ..fabulous by the way...and noticed that my blue Christmas card was featured, too. I guess that's why it had so many views yesterday...I thought that number was kind of over the top...now I know why..cool!

Starting to attempt the Felted Paper and the video is missing at the bottom of the tutorial...or at least it's not loading for me!

All caught up, but I had a minor "kerfuffle" as judge Judy calls it! I had keyworded the two cards wrong. I had switched the challenges!

Got the felted card done...used my brain and read through the instructions! Not hard, just used to learning new things via video!! :)

Oh, oh, oh! I found my missing Gina K winter sets. Wowza! Right in the drawer where I had been frantically looking for them. Today I was not looking for them, but there they were. Thank goodness! I was afraid they were missing for good...I had to box everything up when we remodeled our basement and I figured they were lost in some tote I had not gone through yet... yay!! Happy dance!

That usually happens when your flash player is out of date. You can either update on Adobe's site, or probably you need to get the latest version of your browser.

I updated my browser and that one still won't play for me. I have only run into a couple in the tutorial section that won't play so I just figured it had to do with the format that was used to do the tutorial.

Just wondering about all the Christmas/holiday cards we are making, when the recipients are requesting birthday and thank you cards. Should we just send them along anyway?

My school kids have Fall Break (they're part time at the high school and homeschooled for the rest) so I took the opportunity to sleep in. I have to work on the house which is quite messy after my time away and the sudden closure of the store where I had my cards and other small items for sale. I also must bring houseplants back inside as we have a cold snap coming. Hopefully there will be some stamping later today.

I have a super clingy baby today. He's always clingy, but clingier today. But I did get one card I started yesterday done, another one done and another started! :). Slow but sure...

My understanding from the hostess backstage area is that you just send along the cards for that particular challenge. The others are yours for your stash, your friends, your family, whoever. If you made some of the challenges into cards that would fit the charity request, then yes, send those on, too. Since we are combining Holiday Blitz and Charity Drives you will have had the opportunity to both make cards as requested and build up your stash. Does that help?

Ok, I am just getting started. I have done one tutorial and another in the making. I have uploaded one challenge so far. Will try to do more, but can't be a yeti. Do I get into the drawing for the smaller prizes. Or is there anything for us who don't do them all?

Whew...with both littles in here, I decided to not stamp and just take a breather and clean up a bit. My stuff. There stuff. I feel a bit better. It truly felt like three tornadoes hit in here.

Off for a power walk and run! Littles can unwind in the jogger! Little man has learned how to scold and it's hilarious watching him get at my 3 year old!!! Yikes!

Sharon, my understanding is that you will automatically get into the smaller drawings as long as you have uploaded at least one falliday fest card challenge. I don't think you have to do anything else like linking. That's for the yetis.
