I finished the last tutorial I am doing, for a total of 9. I need to today's sketch challenge now. I need to make it a birthday card for my sis. I had made her one, but realized it is her 65th, so I need to make a special one.
Sure enjoying everyone's creations. I have been commenting here and there, but need to do more.
Better than me the year I made my sister a special sweet 16 card to realize on the way to see her that she was turning 17!

My sister sent my son a card and it said happy 5th birthday. He is 14. She called me and said she knows he is not 5 but her son refused to pick another card so she went with it. My son had a good laugh.

We are supposed to have a snow storm tomorrow. Hopefully I can get caught up!
How far into SW MN are you?
I have to go to Mankato tomorrow for a specialist appointment and I do not want to drive or ride through snow to get there...every time we had to be in Mankato last year between Jan-April it snowed...and the appointments were at 8 AM...DARK, snowy, no fun.

SO---am trying for Yeti status....completed first 3 days of challenges ( Teapot Tuesday, Card Sketch, and Way to Use it {cut it out}). Uploaded to gallery, used both keywords, went to challenge threads and provided a link to each card......so----is there a thread or threads to post in the Falliday area as well....????? color me confused?

I think you've done all you are supposed to so far Pansy. At least that's what I've done. The final will be posting all thirty challenges plus the 7 daily challenges to the yeti thread once it opens.
For my daily challenge today, WT659, I made a scrapbook page. The inspiration to make was perfect. So, accomplished the Yeti requirement for today and got another page done. I'm happy.

Love our daily challenges. Even though I don't partipate as much anymore, I know the inspiration is always there when I have the time or need to make a card!!
I forgot the keyword FF17YETI and had to go back to edit it in. Still have one of the FF challenges yet and Tuesday and today's dailies then I am caught up. I have canvas prepped for the Mason Jar topper already so will probably still do that one and the foam ornament also since I purchased glittery foam too. Just finishing up school with DD then I'm back to stamping!
I wonder if the deadline could be extended to compensate for situations like yours?
I just saw Lydia's post about Yeti's and also looking back at her original schedule - I think we have until 11/5 to get everything posted and to complete our Yeti list of all projects - so I'm going to get going on the daily challenges and hopefully be able to do the last ones when I get home and get my list all into the Yeti post!!??

It looks to me like the gallery will close on 11/1 and the week will be to put together and post the lists only."November 1- November 6th
During this week, we will close the gallery to all entries, and our tech team will run reports that we use to draw prizes. In order for you to be eligible for prizes, you MUST have your cards in the challenge gallery and have the keywords correct - otherwise your cards will not show up on this report, and your name will not be in the drawings. This will make yeti cry. The deadline for posting to the yeti thread during this period is November 5th at noon central."
Okay, after viewing Lydia's post at 12:30 today, it sounds like we are to NOT post these Yeti cards to the Falliday 2017 gallery, rather the Membership gallery. However, her post about the Yeti challenge earlier this week I interpreted to put these in the Falliday 2017 gallery. Now I guess that is not right.
Also, do Christmas challenges, Alphabet challenges, Dirty Girl challeges, etc. count as challenges we can use, or do only the daily ones count that are on a particular day? What if I make to WT challenges, will that count as a Yeti card???
Also, do you have to have done the tutorials or any of them to qualify for Yeti? I didn't seem to see that being a part of the qualifications?? I have done none of them.
I have spent a great deal of work getting every challenge done, trying to get all the keywords correct, challenges into the right places, etc. When it comes time for posting I want to be perfectly clear on all of these things, as the greatest work is yet to come for me, posting all of this stuff (and I am technically challenged).
Could someone PLEASE answer these questions for me??? I don't want to do all this work and make some stupid mistake. KWIM???

Liz, I can answer a couple. Only the daily challenges listed on the home page count. And no, you don't need any tutorials. We will only be listing the 30 challenges and the 7 daily challenges in the yeti thread when it opens. As for posting to the falliday fest gallery, I will need to go find that because I read we were to upload those last 7 to that gallery too and keyword them all FF17Yeti
Good, Kathy. It's not just me reading it differently. I called my sister, Lynn (Allee's) and she thought it was conflicting as well. Maybe Lydia will clarify things for us. This was the only place I thought I could comment to ask from. Those threads do not accept comments or questions.

OK, I have a question. In the Falliday Fest Schedule post, it says that everything has to be uploaded by NOON Central time on the 31st. Then, for the Yeti requirement, Lydia said 11:59 p.m. (as in, at night!) on the 31st. So, was the "p.m." in the Yeti post a mis-type, or is the gallery not closing until 11:59 Tuesday night? Or is the nighttime deadline just for the extra Yeti challenges? So confused & befuddled! :confused:

Thanks for the clarification, Lydia. Now the big challenge is on getting all 30 typed up and linked to one thread, and the 7 Yeti ones to their thread. I could probably make 30 more cards in the time that takes me. LOL But I will perservere.

Got my last FF card done as week as cards for today's and Tuesday's challenges. If I haven't let anything fall through the cracks I am all caught up! Now to figure out supper really fast before the swimmers get home. They come home HUNGRY!
Need to know: Because I am a checker......I have currently 30 challenges, 10 tutorials, and 3 daily challenges in my gallery---however when I go to the Falliday fest Master Gallery---I only can find 26 of my challenges, 2 of my daily(Yeti) challenges and I won't worry about the tutorials since I don't need them for Yeti. Should I worry......If I copy the link from the posting in my gallery and create the list----will that suffice????

Pansy, I think you are going to have to open all your cards to figure out which ones are not in the fallidays gallery?
it will be a sentence above to the left of the photo it will say yada yada events, fallidays , 2017 fallidays if the challenges are in the correct gallery. ( your tutorials would be in each of those individual galleries and will not show up in the fallidays one)
If that sentence says member galleries your screen name you can edit it and move it, there is a button under the photo to the right. then there is a big drop down menu to search for to find the spot. to move it to the fallidays gallery.
Ok,,,I have located and corrected some keyword errors and now can verify that I have 30 challenge cards in My Gallery, the Chat Thread Gallery, and the Falliday Fest Gallery.Now to figure out how to take the daily challenge cards out of Falliday Fest Gallery.

Deleted the two from gallery than added them back in without the Falliday Fest etc. choices...so they are just in my member gallery now. will tackle the next part later. Did keyword them for the challenges they were created from but haven't linked them to those threads yet...task for tomorrow.

Today is blustery and cold so today's goal to be in the basment/studio will be easy to do!! I got two cards made last evening. 23 to go for Yetti status I think! . Still not feeling defeated!!

Why is it, after making nearly 30 cards, my stacks of cs and papers are higher than when I started? It seems like all this activity should have made at least a little dent in my supplies!
