Question regarding the first challenge... can I just use Copics to put a little ink down on paper to smoosh the paper in? I don't have alcohol ink or Copic reinkers... I won't have a large area to work with, to make several cards.. but I'm sure I could do a card with a bauble/ornament size ink spot that would work. Would that be satisfactory? (is this the proper place to ask questions like this?)
I've been out of state for almost 2 weeks.. I just got back Thursday night... I didn't prepare for FF at all. So there are a few things on the shopping list I don't have.
Squeal!!! I just did the ORANGE challenge and came up with something fun!! Yay!! Littles and DD1 are home, but it will soon be nap for the littlest...and his birthday is today!

copic markers are alcohol based... so YES, go to the tutorials section type in the word Alcohol in the search box and it will tell you all the tutorials that have some form of alcohol ink in them... ( there are marker shading ones)
OK!! I got a lot done, still not completely caught up, but feeling much better about things! Off to think about homemade pizza and a birthday party for little man tonight!! Life must go on outside my studio!! ;). **gasp**
Hi. I dont have Copic reinkers either. You can make the I background for this challenge like this. Take a cotton ball, wet it with rubbing alcohol, add a few drops of different color regular reinkers to the cotton ball and then pounced it on glossy Cardstock. Works like a charm.

Thank you very much! I was under the impression we had to use alcohol inks.. once I learned that wasn't a strict rule, I got something that will work for a card. ;)
Good morning everyone! I slept in till almost 6 today - I almost never sleep that late! A couple of late nights have done me in, and today is going to be a long day as well.
Good morning! You are an early bird, too! It always feels good when it is only 9 or 10 am and so many to-dos are already done. The flip side, though, is that by 8pm, I am ready to unwind and chill for the rest of the evening. A friend took me to Bunco Friday nighr -my first time - and it didn't start until 8pm. Although I loved it and will go back next month, I am afraid I was NOT the life of the party 😂
Went down to craft room for a minute before church, to clean up. I liked Anita’s idea for hoop ornament and ask could I use it and she said yes. Because I don’t have a hoop. So found my empty red line tape and layed it out along with some burlap. So I will be set to work on that this afternoon. I am now three behind on tutorials and three cards behind. Want to catch up! How are the rest of you doing? Caught up?
My turkey is still in pieces, I ordered double sided foam sheets from Taylored Expressions, I started a eclipse last night but, I am not a night owl and this morning it looks ( yuck) gonna toss it and start over. ( I have not read anything from today yet) and I have one challenge card from yesterday that was drip drying last night. so behind by at least 4 things plus today's. ( I think that is fairly normal for me though, there is a make up week after the challenges are all done posting so, I think as long as the surprise is not drink your alcohol and dance neekid on the tables at 1 am I can probably get them all squeaked through)

I'm pushing to get 'em all done, too. However, my righteous picky-ness and glitter tantrums are blocking me. I hate my stupid foam ornament, and am fussing over a re-do. I'm COVERED with glitter! Even with a tiny scrap of foam sheet run through the xyron both sides (seriously bowed) and stuck to glitter cs. I may be doing the neekid drunk dance when I finally lose my mind over the silly little tag!

Hello. I started late in the Falliday challenges, but am enjoying making more cards than usual..... One question, does one need to complete all of the card challenges AND all of the tutorials? I am thinking yes, but wanted to make sure.....
I have not done the foam ornament yet- but will be prepared for the glitter all over : ) And, possibly the neekid drunk dance : ) LOL
Going to get busy and create before the Cubs vs Dodgers game 2 tonight - my husband is such a sports crazed fella, that sometimes he is just as entertaining as the game : )

If you want to be in the drawing of the larger prizes then yes, all challenges, all tutorials and a surprise element that has not yet been announced...you are then called a Yeti...you are also eligible for the smaller prize categories.
if you want to be in the smaller prize categories then you need only complete 1 (one) challenge or as many as you want!
