Hi all! I think I have my blog all updated. Also, I mailed out my images for the image swap Wednesday I think so you should be getting them soon.
Jenny, I might be interested in the book club - I love to read, but have not read much since the baby was born. My local library does not have that book, but I may participate in Sept if I can get it somewhere.
Colleen, I'm going to go to the used bookstore on Monday. Do you want me to get you a copy if they have it?

Hey ladies.. I'm here.. plan on working on my blog tonight - updating posts etc... so I'll get the name change, people change etc done then. It is soooo stinking hot here.. at 6:30 pm.. it is STILL 32 degrees (90 degrees f). I don't deal well when it is this hot.
We have had a busy day.. finally got everyone up off their butts to do some work around our house... but now I'm so hot I don't want to do anything else!
I need to run out and get something to wear to a wedding tomorrow, but I'm thinking I will just find something in my closet instead.. I just don't feel like trying on clothes in this heat!
I'm working at one of our LSSs tomorrow for the morning.. and then will go to the wedding in the afternoon/evening. It is supposed to be just as hot tomorrow.. I'm grateful that the wedding is indoors, and right on the ocean... so it should be cooler.
Anyways.. off to take pictures off all the layouts I've been storing up... will check in soon!

If people can't find it a book at their local library, should a new book be chosen?
I don't mind buying a book, but I know for some it can add up. If you have an eReader, it is a little cheaper. B&N it is $10.99 for the ebook. I didn't check Borders ebook prices.
I always get coupon codes in email for Borders and B&N if anyone needs one. The coupons are only good on paperback or hardcopy not ebooks :(

I can say hello...goodbye...good afternoon...and NO!!!! That's about it. And I can read the road signs...part of our drivers training course otherwise...nope can't speak or read a lick!!! LOL!
I think it might be fun to rotate who gets to pick. That way we get to read books that some of us might normally have noticed
I picked one for Sept, but I don't mind getting out-voted if no one else is interested in it.
I think what you picked is perfectly fine. And I agree...allowing one person a month pick the book would be fun...we all have different interests so it will give us a chance to read something we might not have thought of before! I like just about any kind of book so....I'm good with anything!

I can NOT wait to be back to the real world again...we do have a base library (not so great) and a used book store...it's soooo confusing in there...they have way too many books and not enough space for them and then we can buy at our BX...otherwise...I'm out of luck!!! I will look today while we are out grocery shopping and see if I can find it.

JENNY...does PWCO not have digis? There is no way I can order something and have it get to me in time for the challenges and I don't think we can all use the same 1 image that was sent to us. Or will there be a new image each week to us? I did get my two RAM images but of course they aren't the "exclusive animals from PWCO".
I had the weirdest dream last night ... so this is how I know I better sit at my table today cuz something creative might happen ... LOL ... we were all together in some place with purple carpeting ... Melanie and April revealed our new group name ... and I stood up laughing and said ... PAPER PRINCESS??? (which by the way I voted for ... LOL) I am already known as "The Rubber Princess" by my family and friends (have a Princess sticker on my car from hubby) ... Do I now have to call my kids "Inklets"??? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL ... I did actually wake up laughing ... so I don't know what you all said ... but, I had to share ... lol

YUck! I get a lot of my books from half.com, but they didn't have any copies of that one. Go figure!

April, I just went to the blog and it is a daily challenge not weekly....15th - 18th of August.
Oh man! I never get a 30% coupon. I better go check my mail and peel the sticker off. I have $30 kohls cash to spend.

My friend and I think there's a secret to getting the 30% off coupon. It's worked the last couple of times. If you don't use the 15% then they send you a 20% and if you don't use that one they will send you the 30%. It's worked out for me that I get the 30% one right before school starts and then in the Spring.

Well I hadn't shopped there since like February! My coupons always say 15%. I did get an email when it was VA's tax free weekend with a 20% in the email. Si I printed that and took dd clothes shopping.
hahahaha....I just peeled off the sticker and it is the 20%
I might have to use it though since my Kohls cash expires on Wednesday and it is $30 DH needs work shirts!
We are getting a quote to have the windows in our house replaced, going to the Salvation Army to drop a bunch of stuff off, DH needs to go pick up so car parts to replace the timing belt or something on his car.
The image swap info is in the main thread. When the image swap ends remind me to remove it. This will give us a good reference point for it. Actually it just hit me, maybe it would be better to "house" this info over on SNR so it does not get lost. What do you think?
Ok I added a thread on our SNR group for the competing princesses for the card kit game. That way chit chat and reminders will not get lost on this thread. Hope that is ok with everyone.

REALLY Jenny....HISTORY!!! LOL! Like I said, I'm down for anything but history...lol!!!
Oh bummer, that's my favorite type of book :( Luckily I'm happy to read anything, expect romance. I don't mind romance within a story, so long as it's a slow build up. I hate those books where the characters jump into bed by chapter three and then the rest of the book is just about them breaking up and getting back together over and over ...YAWN, lol.
