Ok....yum!!! The ONLY thing better than gooey chocolate chip cookies is not quite cooked brownies!!! *thud!!* falls over!! LOVE them!! Guess what, April?! I will bring you a diet soda to go with your cookies cause I luvs ya!

What a crappy day with a side order of crap and crap piled high on top I have had today. :( We have been on the phone (hubby and I both) all day playing tag with the adjuster and the total adjuster and the medical expenses lady and the hospital and the claims specialist and the insurance broker and the body shop owner that is storing my van and the...ugh! They officially pronounced my van a total loss today...sniffles. I know it is so silly, but man oh man was I ever attached to my van. Also, hubby is on my case about going to the doctor for an MRI because I am having pretty bad pain in my neck and back and I am sooooooooooooooo NOT a doctor person. I have been a big weepy mess since the accident and that is so not me.

Oh Ann Marie I'm so sorry girl and love you. I hate you are going through all this. What an awful time. Blah!!!
I dealt with BS on the phone tonight with the boys dad. Oh girls I can not explain to you how wore down I am. I finally just screamed and bawled at him that he had no clue what I was going through and the sacrafices I'm making so he can see his boys. In turn he turns it back on me trying to control him. Oh gosh I can not even get into all of it now. My eyes hurt from crying and I feel like I could scream and cry a lot more. I need a night out so bad it's unreal. I'm lonely but at the same time I need rest and the comfort of my boys. I know this all sound so crazy and like I'm rambling, sorry!!! It has just been a rough night. Pray for me, the boys will be heading to NC tomorrow night with him to see his parents.
Melanie, I'm sorry you have to deal with that, it must be totally frustrating. I'll be thinking about you.
My DD 2 (the one and a half year old) got into DD 1's nail polish and totally ruined her brand new pants :( I had just bought her these : ripstop rouched hem pant w/twill bow | Please Mum yesterday and now there destroyed.

My DD 2 (the one and a half year old) got into DD 1's nail polish and totally ruined her brand new pants :( I had just bought her these : ripstop rouched hem pant w/twill bow | Please Mum yesterday and now there destroyed.

I tried, but there's just too much. The nail polish is dark blue and she covered about half of one leg with it. I scrubbed and scrubbed, but I didn't make much progress.
Well...we just got home from the ER. :( We spent 3 hours there tonight after my daughter came into my room and told us she was seeing spots and had a severe headache. (She was the driver in our accident) We called the Nurse hotline that our insurance offers and after asking us all the questions they told us to call 911. We wound up just taking her in rather than calling an ambulance. They said it could be a migraine which she has never had before or might be something related to the accident. We are supposed to call our family doctor tomorrow to schedule an MRI or CT scan of her brain. I do not even want to think of all of the horrible things it could be. The doctor started throwing things around like anyurism and brain tumor. She seems to be feeling better now, but we are supposed to watch her for any signs of anything unusual.
It has been a long day so I am off to bed. Sleep well ladies. Night.

I'm sorry things have been so grueling. The accident was bad enough by itself without having to deal with all the BS afterwards. I don't like doctors much either, but if you don't get it checked out now and it get worse later on, you'll have heck dealing with your insurance. Take a big dose of Oreos or brownies and you'll feel better! Sending you hugs!

Melanie, sounds like you need a good rest. I know you will miss the boys, but please take this opportunity to take care of yourself. Sounds like your "ex" still knows all the buttons to push, sometimes the less said to them the better because if they did not get it "then", they will never get it "now". A night out, or at least some fun to let your hair down might be just what the doctor ordered! Hugs!
I'm a dumb, dumb!!!! I subbed for our PE coach today! It was 100 degrees! The gym was a sauna! I sweat ALL DAY! UGH!!!! To top it off, 7th period, I had to help the football players too. They had to dress, FULL PADS, and run plays!!!! It was awful, they were sweating like crazy!!! Finally, at 3:00 the Principal (who is the assistant coach) came and took over the practice. I had to race and get DS (I usually pick him up at 2:50) and then race to DD's school to pick her up before they charged me their after school fee! UGH! UGH! UGH! and did I mention I did all the stretching and exercises with all 6 classes?!!! Needless to say when we got home, I went straight for the shower! I'm so tired....
April, I hope you get your orders this week. I feel bad for you having to get all your stuff together. I HATE packing...and you'll be doing ULTRA packing! Big Hugs girl! I read somewhere on SCS about Military wives having to pack and ship their ink pads differently? Something about the Military wouldn't except them in just a box shipped? I never really understood what they were talking about. Did you have anything regarding this when it comes to packing?
Melanie, I've not found the book yet. There's a library close to DH's work that has it but it's checked out. I'm hoping it's back by September and they email DH to let him know.

Hey ladies.. not much going on with me.. is it just too stinking hot right now... 7:30 pm.. and it is still 33 (91) degrees.. my boys are currently at their first football practice of the year.. I just can't imagine... I stayed home because I had a migraine.. finally got it down to a headache.. and I'm hoping when the boys get home in about 15 minutes they wont' trigger it again.
It also doesn't help that I've got a neighbour hacking up a lung while outside smoking.. grrr.. and a cricket outside that hasn't shut up in days.. I so want to close the windows and sliding door.. but I think I would melt!
Heading off for a bit... I've hit a few blogs today playing catch up with posts... and will get to them all over the next couple of days. I've also been setting up my blog with future posts so I don't fall behind again.
Hope your migraine didn't come back! The heat has been sapping my strength all summer and it's still going strong! I love your new pic - downright sassy looking!

I don't know what I'm going to do now. They told me at the school here that he didn't need to be enrolled at a school to start once we got to Guam. I just think it would be too much for him to start school for 2 months, be living out of bags for weeks here, going home for 3 weeks (which would mean NO school), getting to Guam, living out of bags again for a while, getting him into the new school and getting settled. So I'm really hoping that what she told me is true that I can just start him once we get there and he doesn't need to be enrolled here at the beginning of the school year. If that's not the case when we get there...I will just homeschool him the first year. He really wants to go to school and I think he could really use it. He loves to play with kids his own age instead of just Leila and our friends little girl that is the same age as Leila.

Man girl..it's just one thing after another for you lately! I'm so sorry! Just because the doctor told you the worst don't think the worst...he only says all that because he has no idea what it is so he's giving you any and all it could be! Deep breaths, find something relaxing to do...it's going to be okay!

Marsha is right AnnMarie...if your having back problems you need to see the doctor and have it documented because if it is due to the accident and you go months later because it still isn't right your going to have a hard time getting the insurance to cover it because you waited too long and who's to say it's even from the accident! So take care of yourself and your daughter so your both covered and there is documents of everything!!!

at least if you put him in school you are less one kid during the day so you might be able to pack more ... lol ... that's what my friend did from school here ...

I hate when doctors throw out ideas. Then you get worried and panicked. They did that to my son when he was in the hospital except they were throwing out words like "hemispherectomy." Talk about major stress!
I just thought I was going to have a nice, quiet, cleaning day alone today. Until the phone rang! The private school that DD attends needed subs so I put in an application. They are having a kind of sub orientation today. I'm so nervous! The principal there makes me that way. She is so sophisticated, and well....intimidating....I forget how many degrees she has, it's a lot. Don't get me wrong she is the sweetest lady, but when I get around her my hands sweat!!! Cross your fingers I don't pass out! ugh

April, I think the home school thing the first year is a great idea. If we could get by, financially, without the little money that I make, I would home school both our kids in a minute. I love being at home, I love my kids being with me...at home. I'm going through something right now I think, like separation anxiety? I tear up every morning with DS getting on the bus. Then, when DD leaves with DH I hug her like 40 times. I need to cut the cord! I know!! I just have anxiety of the fact that nobody loves them like I love them and I'm terrified they're going to be mistreated. And, I don't mean beat up, just made fun of I guess?? I'm sooooooo OVERPROTECTIVE!!!! Hello, I'm a mommy to an Autistic son and a drama queen daughter, and I have anxiety! (I need some kind of AA meeting don't I?!!! hahahahaha)
Well, I'm gone to shower and get all nice looking (if that's achievable!) I'll update how the meeting went later!
He is all of our new best friend!
