April sounds great! I would like to put in a request for somewhere in Orange County though, so it's a little closer to those of us in San Diego. I couldn't make the first one so I'm excited to have another chance to get to meet some of us out here!
a) I'd love a shoebox swap...and a regular swap, too. Maybe a birthday theme for the latter? What about some sort of display with an idea card and a handout w/ technique directions, layout, or even a collection of quotes or phrases?
b) Either date would work for me. (Although if you have it on the 9th, I may demand a bithday cake since my birthday is on the 4th. )
I would like to come. I live in northern San Diego, so Orange county is not that far. Is it okay that I don't know any of you...oh, am I now inviting myself?

Jyll - you know us! You're talking to us right now, right? That's as much as most of know each other. Except some of us did meet at the last gathering. Absolutely everyone is welcome!
Ahhh, rats...I'd like to go this time, but we are pretty busy in April....I know we aer booked on the 9th already....boo hoo.....Last time I missed out because it was our anniversary.
Maybe if there is a So Cal Part 3 I can finally attend!

I would love to come because I missed the first meeting. But April 16th isn't good for me at all. Orange County is a bit of a drive but my honey just bought a new car, so I might be able to drive it.

New here, but I'm in Los Angeles..... Saturdays are always out for me (I'm an Orthodox Jew), but if you ever do anything in LA during the week, I'd love to know about it!
I'm interested, depending on the location. I'm down south, even farther, in San Diego County. I've never done, been, or participated in anything like this before....so it's a bit scary, but keep me posted. At this point, either date looks good.

Valerie - having been at the last one I can guarantee you it's totally not scary once you're there. Lots of people were nervous about it last time, but everyone was just so warm and friendly and the projects were so much fun! I really hope you can come!
Maybe all of us in San Diego can carpool. Valerie, you would drive close by me to get to Orange County anyway, so if you want to stop here you can ride with me and whoever else from down here who wants to go. I'm in Sabre Springs, near Poway. I'll be happy to drive, and since I lived in OC for 5 years, I kinda know the area. We would also pass through San Marcos, and I've seen someone who lives there posting so you could hitch a ride too! A shoebox swap would be great!
Looking forward to April!
Lisa
Hi Jami,
I'm in Ventura County. I looked through the cali thread. I didn't see anyone from there.
Hmmm - let's see who else responds. Maybe there will be someone from somewhere a little south of you taht you could hook up with. I think I did see soemone in Santa Barbara. And there are definitely some gals at Vandenburg AFB if any of them want to drive this far. I know one of them almost came last time. Try reading through the old thread for the original SoCal Stamp Mania.
