I can make it on April 9th, but not the 16th. This would be a great way to meet each other. I went to San Antonio earlier this month to the regional and SCS also did a shoebox swap and dinner. It was faaaaaaaaaaaabulous! Orange County would be a great place to get together.

I'm from Anaheim - north of the Stadium. The 57 and Lincoln to be exact. I'm still pretty new to SCS but I LOVE it! I'm especially excited for a SoCal get-together - way cool!
Totally unrelated question here: How do you all attach a previous response/question from someone else here like you do in your posts? (I swear, I'm not TOTALLY inept on the computer but this one has gotten past me...)
Anyway, looking forward to April!

I'm guessing that will depend on whether we have to pay for a location or get something free. Joy is checking on a couple of leads (one is in Costa Mesa). Anybody else got a good (free) location in O.C.? A huge basement at their house??? Oh yeah - this is California - no basements! LOL!
I'm interested in going depending on where it's going to be.
April 9 would probably be good for me... unless my sister has her baby early. :shock:
But it's not due until the 15th... so that should be good.

We are so LUCKY in SoCal!!! Everything is so close together! Probably the farthest anyone will have to drive would be maybe an hour or two??? Some of those gals in the midwest have to drive for hours and hours to get together. This will be so fun! If you are thinking that *maybe* this *might* interest you please post a message to this thread. Our fearless leader Joy needs an idea of how many might come. I know there's lots of lurkers who haven't checked in here. C'mon it will be fun! Do us a favor - please PM anyone that you notice is from SoCal and tell them to check out this thread. It's all about the word of mouth! The more the merrier!

Looks like April 9th somewhere in Orange County. Joy is still working on exact location. Shoebox swap...maybe lunch...maybe another make'n'take by Emily...still in the planning stages. Sure like to see a bunch of us get together!
I live in Simi Valley and if the gathering is on the 16th I can go...and take some people of Ventura County and Northern San Fernando Valley. But, only if it's on the 16th. Sorry. Keep us posted....sounds like a lot of fun!!
It look slike the girls in Colorado had over 30 people at their gathering last weekend. Iknow some of them drove a distance. There are tons of us her in SOCal...who wants to get together for a day of fun???? C'mon gals - speak up!!! :o

I would love to go. I am in spring valley and have no idea how to get up north. As long as you can give me good directions i would love to go. I have never been to one before. if anyone is in my area and wants to car pool let me know.
