I've been talking about the CCC11 box I've put together in hopes of keeping me organized and on track for this go-round. Wanted to share a pic.
I have a file card for each 'category' of people I send cards to. Behind each category I've put a smaller card that lists names/ addresses (it holds 32 names) so I have everything in one spot. No searching for addresses later. I can make the cards, address the envelopes and even put the stamp on them as they're done. Come November, I just pick up the box and head for the PO. :-) Remind me later how simple I made this sound LOL

While Vikki Jo is in charge of this thread, I am her goody person.
Remember: Each month you upload your cards in their coordinating month, your name goes into a drawing for a goody envelope. These envelopes contain images, CS/DP mats, ribbons, embellie - all kinds of stuff.
The JANUARY envelope is already stuffed, sealed and waiting for YOUR address!
And as a BONUS - Everyone who participates all 11 months - your name will go in for a chance at a Bonus Christmas Envelope of goodies. So keep making those cards and Uploading them On-Time! :-)

Okay, I did my math.... Please put me in for 8 items/month. We always have card drives come up somewhere so it won't be hard to find homes for the extras.

Kelly keeps me on track, makes sure I don't miss anyone, and is a great hostess while I am away for work!

Borrow away, Carol.. hehe I'm going to be stocking up on Forever's as well. These evergreen ones that are out now are so Christmasy I want to make sure I have plenty before they go and change the design ;-)

I really like that stamp too!
I believe postage is planned to go up in May
Who do you send cards to?
When it comes to family, do you send to all the Aunts and Uncles? Cousins...
Or is it siblings, grand parents, nieces and nephews????
Loaded question of the day! LOL
When it comes to family, I send to mine and Bob's siblings and their children. For now that's enough :-)
Friends are divided into categories - Friends I've met on line either through writing or scraping fall under either of those respective categories.
Only a handful of friends from writers conferences. Then there are the friends I've had for years such as my bff from junior high school and a couple of my Girl Scouts (who are now mothers in their own right - IF that doesn't make you feel old!)
We aren't one of those families who by gifts for everybody's brother but a card is a nice way to say "We still think about you" and hope they'll write back to catch you up on their life.

I'd not heard first class was going up. I think Parcel is. However, I am hearing that regardless of increase, the only stamp they'll be selling will be listed as a FOREVER... no more denominational amounts for 1st class.

You're welcome, kiddo! I'm upset - our UPS office was not open today and I really wanted to get the copy work done I failed to do yesterday. :-(
Mine was open I just got to not be there! LOL
The drive home was alright.. just rained.
My road was another story, it is 3 miles of gravel road, 15' wide (you hope to meet NOBODY) I have 2 neighbors out here that drive BIG trucks!
It was like driving in pudding! NASTY
then this morning it was so icy! I had to go make the mortgage payment since they will be closed tomorrow.. WOW! The highway was perfect!
Got back from town, rounded the scary corner and topped the last hill on our.. and off the road I went! POOF right in the ditch!
Thankful now for neighbor with big truck! hee hee
Home now, updated here, off to say some more hello's and a bit of gallery gazing, then I am working on some cards!
That's why I thought our office would be open because yours was. Guess that's what I get for thinking LOL My own fault for not remembering to have Bob stop there when we were doing errands. The envelope with the masters was right there beside me too.
I can print CS on my big printer but it growls at me when it does so I was just going to have them printed off in there and be nice to my machine. I may still print them myself just to have them done. They're for the baby scrapbook swap I'm in.

Kelly...I heard that too. I asked the PO when I was in before Christmas. Asked about the rates going up. He said that it didn't pass. So, for right now....no increase in the rate. I did hear also (a friend) that the stamps will be FOREVER stamps....with no amount. That will be handy....you won't be running to the PO to figure out if you have the right stamps etc.

I heard on the news the other day that the PO is ONLY going to make forever stamps from now on. There won't be any need for extra stamps of $.01 or $.02. Will make life a whole lot easier.

For Christmas I send handmade cards to everyone I send cards too. I also buy an extra for my DD's that has special sentiments in them.
During the year I send handmade cards to grownups. If I send a card to one of my young greats I usually buy their cards. I do send handmade cards to my grands.

I'm glad that you had a neighbor to help you out of the ditch. Kinda scary.

Please sign me up for ten each month. I've been wanting to do this for a couple years and just haven't. This year, as I was struggling to all 70 plus cards done in November I swore I'd sign up.
So, here I am, looks like I might be #100! Woohoo!
Thanks for the inspiration and for getting us organized. Looking forward to seeing everyone's creativity!
Please add me to the list-I will have a goal of 10 per month. Thanks for starting this challenge again this year-it will be nice to be more prepared:-)
