This is for F4A45 to make a project reflecting one of our New Year's resolutions. I seem to spend all my time inside. I'm at work, in the car or in the house all the time. I seem to make very time to be outside enjoying the gorgeous Florida sunshine and plant life. It would be really great if I could discipline myself to get out and walk for exercise but since that is probably a pipe dream I could at least resolve to sit in the sun and enjoy reading.
I cut out a scalloped square with my my new Chritmas toys and masked the scalloped edges to create a frame for my scene. I sponged color on the sky, tree top, water line and ground area and stamped the mini fern image for grass and and leaves. I stamped the chair image twice and colored them both. I cut portions of one chair out to pop up on the second one to create dimension. I painted in the tree trunk and limbs with a brush and attached the chair to the scene with glue dots. I tucked in punched greenery all around the chair and on the opposite corner from the chair leaving space open for the little brown path. I I stamped each little piece of punched greenery with the mini fern stamp to give them texture to blend into the scene. I attached three flower roses (even though they are a little too large) in the greenery to create a garden effect. The finishing touch was to add light touches of glitter to some of the leaves, flowers and on the water to add a little whimsey to the whole project. I wouldn't mind sitting in that chair and gazing out over the beautiful water.
