I used a lovely window stamp given to me by Lorraine for this one. I stamped it, masked it and stamped the brick wall. Cut out the window part, dusted the whole thing with powdered chalk pastels and that's when I got sick...
Today I made it into a little shaker using some sort of mesh I found in my stash, and a bit of a gel print behind it. I cut the ivy, the birds and the sentiment from more bits of gel prints. There were four birds on it at some stage - but after 5 days of not being able to eat, I'm a bit shaky and I don't know where the fourth one went - and it's time to go back to bed for a while.
Warning for whoever receives it - it's not a brilliant shaker. But it's pretty.

I too have always been fascinated by his windows. the little bird sitting inside the word is such a wonderful addition, along with the bricks and ivy!!! I hope you feel so much better soon. DH and I had that awful norovirus, and were down with it for an entire week. I hope that's not what you have, mf!!

Sabrina I sure hope you are feeling better. This window is so perfect for the Frank Lloyd Wright tea party. He really made some amazing buildings complete with stained glass windows and this really fits perfect.

This is just breathtaking Sabrina. Wow! I love the texture of the brick wall with this absolutely stunning shaker window. The wonderful trailing ivy and the little birds really bring this whole scene to life. Looking at this, I would never know how poorly you are feeling Sabrina. I sure hope you are getting better. Take care. ~Karen.

Dreamy is a perfect description. The stained glass window is wonderful and the foliage takes it up a notch..and then the birds. I can hear the church bells ring, too.
