I loved the colors in todays CC, I'm back again with a card that will get in the mail this morning to someone who needs to know I remember. I am also posting this in the Crafty Secrets Challenge...hoarded treasures.
I began with a vv cs that I thumped in many different VersaMagic colors on the blooms. I used a cc~ese ink for the stems and leaves. The floral background had a run through the Cuttlebug with the 'birds and swirls' embossing folder. I really like the subtle texture this adds to any patterened paper! The rest of my card consists of hoarded stickers and funky loopy trim in a perfect sage shadow. I deckled the sentiment and then distressed further. I stapled the fiber onto the sentiment to get a good hold...this fiber has a tendency to ravel. It is mounted on pop dots. The postage in the upper corner is again, a hoarded sticker that I UTTE'ed many times. The whole panel was then mounted to cc .
I confess I'm really bad about just wanting to look at my pretties and not actually use them, and then NOT send them off...just because I want to look at them some more! It's good for me to write that out in front of all YA"LL...how 'bout you?

OK Susan, perhaps there needs to be a 12 step program for us pretties junkies who hoard, look, keep... but I guess I'd have to be in that meeting too! It's often hard to part with some of the wonderful things we collect! This is a wonderful card! Love your bg, and those gorgeous fibers around the sentiment are yummy!!! Great sentiment too! You must have a wonderful SS near you... you get the greatest things!

Very pretty! love all the colors over the embossed bg! wonderful looped ribbon framing the sentiment! I often make 2-4 cards when I make a challenge card so I have some to give/sell and one to keep if desired! It is hard to part with some of them!

This is so pretty Susan! Who needs designer paper when they are as creative as you. Love multiple inks on the bkg. I must try that! If I had that gorgeous trim~ I'd have been hoarding it too. So glad we could help lessen your stashed supply load. Thanks so much for playing and even more for all the encouraging words you share with all of us!

Another stunner! That background is so rich with color and texture! I'm glad you give us a glimpse of your hoarded pretties even if you don't send them - oh wait, I mean you MUST send them! Wonderful fibers around the wonderful sentiment!

Wowzers Susan, did you have fun or what? Take a deep cleansing breathe now.....wasn't Lori's challenge a good one?! You definately caught the shabby vintage look here with all your colors, textures and I love the extra dimension of the CB floral! Can't wait to see what you come up with next week.
