The inside of this card says "Hope you have a Dog-gone Grrrreat Birthday!
This one was a tad time consuming, but I really like it.
I started with stamping the doghouse on red cs and cutting it out. Then I stamped the doghouse again on white cs and cut out just the sign and glued that to the red dog house. I then cut a small strip of green cs with grass edged scissors and inked the top of the grass with medium green chalk ink. I stamped a light beige square of cs with the splatter stamp from Itty Bitty Backgrounds, then edged it with light brown chalk ink and slightly "rrruff"-ed up the edges. I then adhered the dog house and grass. I mounted that to a piece of brown cs and slightly roughed the edge of the brown.
I then stamped the next layer with Simple Stripes background stamp in dark brown chalk ink on light beige cs and inked the edges with medium brown chalk ink, then roughed the edges.
I vertically tied a ribbon around the brown cs, then adhered that block to the striped piece.
For the base card, I stamped the paw prints on natural cs and inked the edges with light brown chalk ink. I then put a strip of brown patterned paper across the bottom portion of the card.
To finish it off, I stamped the doggie on white cs and the bone on beige cs, colored them with markers and/or watercolors and cut them out. I cut off the head portion of the doggie and glued the bone in his mouth. I then put pop dots on the body and a higher pop dot on the head portion so it sticks up further and put them on the card
Voila! (whew!)
