Another one I made for my dad. I got the inspiration from someone here on Splitcoast, But I apologize, It was several months ago and I don't have a link to the original.
The Pinecones are from the Fantastic Foliage set and embossed with detail gold and the words are from a Michaels $ stamp.
I lightly stamped the background in light brown mixed with an olive green chalk ink using the pine needle stamp from Fantastic Foliage and also the spatter stamp from Itty Bitty Backgrounds. I then tore the piece at an angle towards the bottom. On another piece of light beige cardstock, I stamped the words then stamped with the pine needle stamp and inked around the edges. I cut a mat for the words from dark green cardstock with a deckle edge scissor and inked it with dark brown chalk ink.
For the images, I took 3 strips of cardstock and randomly stamped with the pine needle stamp in olive green, light brown, and dark brown to simulate a pine branch. Then I stamped the pinecones in versamark and embossed them with detail gold EB. I mated the images with the green cardstock, then punched holes in the top and bottom of the card near the fold, put in eyelets and threaded some twine through it.
I think it would have been nice to add maybe a leaf charm or something similar to the twine at the knot, but I didn't have anything like that when I made the card, but it turned out pretty good anyway.
