| | I bought some acrylic paints to play with. I had the idea to sponge layers like I had done when I painted my dining room. I started out with a piece of vellum and sponged my colors. Then I thought a design would look good. Dry embossing came to mind. However, the embossing was hard to see, so I painted the raised parts to make it stand out. I trimmed my vellum with deckle scissors and mounted it on a white card, but I felt it was plain. So I dabbed gold paint on the edges and finished my card.
If anyone else tries this technique, I'd love to see. Thanks for looking! |
