Every once in a while I get a request for custom invitations. I made some purse invitations which are featured in my gallery and two weeks after the invitations had been mailed I got a request for matching favors. This was last week, the day the #51 Weekly Inkling came out with the new One Sheet Bag. This was the prefect little bag for her favors. I just spent all of my spare time the last day and a half making nearly 60 of these little darlings. There is a picture of all 60 ready to be filled in my gallery. Needless to say, I am seeing red roses in my dreams now. Anyway, I used Real Red and Basic Black Card Stocks plus Very Vanilla to stamp the big rose from the "Mixed Bouquet" stamp set and "Thank YOu" from Fancy Flexible Phrases. Here's a picture of my original "draft" and the nearly 60 ready to be filled with chocolate.
I used the hand held rectangle punch to make the holes for the ribbon to be strung though. I felt like just wrapping the ribbon would not be sturdy enough to keep chocolate kisses inside during transit. I also used some adhesive to keep all the layers together in the folding
