This was actual my first piece before I tried painting a large fall piece (10x10). I thought if I tried it as a smaller subject, something I was used to doing on a card, I might have more success. I was happy with the results.

Aw, thanks so much Stacy! I love teal pumpkins, and the white ones too! Hope you've been well and staying healthy. Our calendar seems to be full of more doctor's appointments than I wish. But, such is growing old. Tomorrow is Wednesday and that means we're off to see Teddy on Daniel Island (just 26 miles down the road). We always visit on Wednesdays. I don't know how much time he'll have to visit because he's studying for his last final. I'm making tacos for lunch so he and his friend, John Mark, who's studying with him, will be hungry I'm sure. He adores his grandfather and I'm hoping after lunch he'll go for a walk with him. He still calls us Nana and Beebs (she laughs). Thank you again for leaving a sweet message. I'll be sure to stop by your gallery.
