 | | This is for the Color Challenge hosted by Chat. Her marvelous colors are: Garden Green, Pretty Peacock, and Blackberry Bliss. The dessert option is anything goes. I chose die-cuts for my dessert.
For my card, I started with two beautiful papers. The Pretty Peacock one has gold in the design and is stunning IRL. I paired it with a Blackberry Bliss pattern from Pretty Prints DSP. I stacked two panels together (one of each pattern) and diagonally cut them in half longwise. Then I matched up one Peacock triangle and with a Blackberry one. They were glued onto a Vanilla panel and then a Garden Green card base.
I die-cut a stitched circle and stamped Happy Birthday in the Blackberry Bliss ink. Using the dies that coordinate with the stamp set & paper, I die-cut some leaf stems from Garden Green & Vanilla; and also cut a flower from the DSP. I made the arrangement and popped up the flower on Dimensionals. Finishing touch were some gold dots.
We hope you will get creative and explore these colors. Check out the gallery for a variety of inspiration. Have fun!
