I used my newly found and meaningful pie stamp as the water for a Blueberry Pie sea. My dearly departed John loved to sail his Mercury 240 sloop as much as he loved blueberry pie. I needed a mask for the sailboat to start designing the card and reached into the large collection of post-it notes I got a few weeks ago. The first one on the pile was a promo package printed with the place where we were married over 40 years ago. He sailing along with me today.

The inventive pie‑patterned water creates a whimsical and heartfelt scene, and the sailboat rocking on those blueberry waves adds a touching personal layer while the soft blues and pencil shading give the card a gentle, story‑rich atmosphere.
