 | | Following the Watercolor Wednesday from a few weeks ago - 60 second tree. I had to buy a fan brush so needed for it to arrive before playing with this technique. The fan brush didn't really work for me, so I found my own way to create my tree, using alternative style brushes. I wish the fan brush cooperated because I would like more of the stippling effect on the tree. I also used re-inkers instead of w/c paints ... another thing for me to work on.
In the end I'm pretty happy with my first session at watercolouring ... this is the third of today's try. I cut it down, popped it up on my card base and stamped happy birthday. It will go to my son, Jeremy. He has encouraged me to do more watercolouring on my own, and I'm grateful for his support. |
