 | | For the Sketch Challenge hosted by Jeanette. I reached into my bin of stamped and colored items and found this image. I listed the colors I used as best I could. I am learning to take notes about the colors on the back of what I paint or color just for fun to use later.
The item was already trimmed into a square so it worked well for the layout. I used a corner punch for the sketch design. I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake. The red strip was dry embossed. I stamped the sentiment on watercolor paper and die-cut. I used black rhinestones at the corners. I stamped the card base with a Linen background stamp. I could hardly the impression since the stamp is a 20 year old wood mount stamp. So, I also lightly stamped some leaves & branches around the edges. The linen stamping shows up better in the photo, perhaps you can see it.
I so enjoyed the sketch and glad to use up an image today. Thanks for looking!
