Linda has selected ggurreri as this week's Featured Stamper. She has some really cool card folds and lovely cards in her gallery. This is the card that inspired me:
I kept her birthday theme, use of gems, and stayed with flowers in a vase, but I sketched and watercolored my vase and flowers instead of stamping them, left off the butterfly, changed the sketch, and used different colors.
This is also for Friday's F4A challenge which is all about Shine (my gems shine and my vase highlights imply it does too).

Wonderful work sketching and watercoloring that vase of flowers. I'm sure the gem centers add a joyful sparkle to your image. I love the tiny peek of embossing that frames your painting.

Another fine example of your many crafty skills, Nancy. You make the gallery shine with your beautiful art and creativity. Such a beautiful vase of flowers. I’m awed that you did it all from scratch.

You rocked this image - it's wonderful. The watercolour paper adds a wonderful texture.
My sister and I used to laugh that we got SU catalogues so we could order stamps to make cards because we can't draw a stick-man, our Mom wanted a catalogue to get ideas of things she could sketch herself.
