 | | This is my card for CC1096. Chat is our hostess and she chose real, old olive and highland heather for her color trio. Dessert option this week is twine or ribbon.
Well first let me say, I looked at the colors 2 or 3 times and I still used the wrong red. Oopsie! I picked cherry cobbler instead of real red. It wasn't until I started looking at the team's cards did, I realize the mistake I made.
When I saw these colors, my mind went immediately to Christmas. I bought this word shaped die last Christmas from Stamps of Life but didn't get to use it.
This die set creates a standard A2 (4.25x5.5 inches) card in the shape of a Merry Christmas Greeting. This week's colors were perfect for it.
To get the highland heather color in there, I used purple sequins from Stampin' Up. I added some cherry cobbler twine to complete my first Christmas card of 2026.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Looking forard to seeing where everyone takes these colros in their card design.
